**Small Surprise**

Soonyoung and Jihoon walked back to their car. Jihoon was being very clingy with Soonyoung and was also abnormally quiet.

It had been 2 hours after the incident with Seungcheol.

Jihoon would look up at Soonyoung's wounds from time to time and his face would drop.

The dancer saw this action and was quick to think.

" I know what you're thinking Jihoonie, so stop thinking it. It's not your fault that I got hurt. So don't blame yourself, it's okay and it will be okay. "
Soonyoung smiled at Jihoon.

The smaller was speechless at the fact that Soonyoung practically read his mind.

The older knew about the boys bad habits. Like blaming himself for things he didn't even do. Hell, he'd even blame himself for a single broken plate during an earthquake.

Jihoon just gripped tighter onto Soonyoung's hand and looked away.

The older knew he wasn't gonna pull through with his word after what had happened with Seungcheol.

So he had a small surprise that he's been waiting to do for Jihoon at the right moment.

And for the older, this moment was the perfect moment he'll ever have access to.

The drive home was awkwardly silent. Too silent for Soonyoung's liking and comfort. But he knew that Jihoon liked it quiet when he was in a mood. So he bared with it.

Soonyoung held opened the door to their apartment for Jihoon. And immediately slammed the door and picked up Jihoon bridal style while walking to their bedroom.

" S-Soonyoung!?! P-put me down-n! " the smaller squeaked.

The older made a half smirk, half smile look and set the boy down gently on their bed.

Soonyoung swiftly grabbed something from under their bed and put it in his back pocket.

The dancer sat on the bed and pulled Jihoon so that he was sitting on his lap. One leg on each side of the older.

The older put his left hand on Jihoon's thigh, and let his right hand graze upon the boy's jaw.

Jihoon's face flushed with pink as Soonyoung's hand made contact with his body and face.

Soonyoung looked deeply into Jihoon's eyes before he spoke.

" You wanna know something funny? "

Jihoon rolled his eyes and giggled a bit.
" what? "

Soonyoung's face came closer to Jihoon's. The older rested his forehead against the smallers.

" I realized that I never properly asked you out, i never officially asked you to be my boyfriend. I never bought you a present either. Silly me "

Jihoon blushes as he wrapped his arms around Soonyoung's neck and pecked him on the lips.

Soonyoung smirked,
" Since I didn't properly ask you out.... " the dancer pulled Jihoon up onto his feet and Soonyoung stood right in front of him, grabbing hold of the smallers hand.

" Lee Jihoon, you are the most unique and amazing person I have ever met. You're the most talented and most brave person that I have ever laid eyes on. Your beauty and your personality are nothing compared to anyone that I have ever seen in my entire life! You were the one person that made me feel like I was important. You are my treasure, you are my heaven and earth, and most of all, you are my dream come true. I wouldn't know what I would have done without you. And I know I can be annoying and loud at times, but you are the one who makes me feel like that. You make me so happy that I don't even know how to be quiet and contain myself. I know this is really stupid and weird but I'm saying it anyways. But, I love you so much Lee Jihoon. I say it so many times and I feel like no matter how many times I say it, it doesn't feel like enough. I love you more than anything in this whole entire world. So with that being said, I am going to ask you out properly since I didn't do it before.....Lee Jihoon, will you be my boyfriend and go out with me?~ "

Soonyoung reaches in is back pocket and pulled out a ring. A promise ring.

The ring was silver and was shaped as a crown. The ring had multiple diamonds on it. What made it special was that on the inside of the ring, the words :

" I love you Lee Jihoon "

engraved into the ring.

Jihoon was in tears, the boy's knees were weak and he was balling his eyes out with a smile bigger than he knew he was capable of making.

The Olders words touched his heart. He knew Soonyoung loved him. But after hearing his words dance in his head on repeat, he knew that his love for him was pure.

Jihoon jumped up into Soonyoung's arms. The older caught him and laughed.

Jihoon wrapped his legs around the older and began to kiss Soonyoung all over. His face, cheeks, jaw, neck, forehead. Not leaving one spot unkissed as tears ran down his face.

Soonyoung sat on the bed, Jihoon still clinging to the older as he was still receiving multiple kisses.

" Jihoon that tickles! " the older laughed.

Jihoon looked at Soonyoung in the eyes as small laughs choked out between happy sobs.

The dancer thought he was crazy, but when he looked into Jihoon's eyes. He couldn't help but feel as if the boy's eyes looked brighter and clearer.

The dancer took Jihoon's hand and slipped the promise ring onto the boy's small finger and smiled.

The smaller kissed the dancer on the lips and pulled away with a smile that Soonyoung swore he had never seen in his life.

" I love you so much Kwon Soonyoung! I love you so SO much! " the smaller said while he
laughed/cried.

Soonyoung felt so happy that he was able to finally tell that to Jihoon. Proud even.

Cause Soonyoung got to witness something after he slipped on the promise ring.

He witnessed, a newer, happier, and more enlightened Lee Jihoon.
