The Goddess Realm:

"You what?! You spoke to the demon prince?" The supreme deity was yelling. Elizabeth nervously smoothed the front of her lavender dress and poofed up her bun.

"Well, mother, I wouldn't exactly call it a-"

"Call it what you want, you chatted with a demon!" She shrieked.

"But I really-" Elizabeth tried to argue, but her mother just held up a hand.

"No more speaking of it. Pray that nobody saw you consorting with that thing." For some reason that comment made Elizabeth mad.

"That things name is Meliodas! You act like everything is either good or evil! He let me live didn't he?!" Elizabeth yelled, leaving out the part of him threatening to kill her. The supreme deity's eyes turned cold.

"Pray, now." She said. Elizabeth lost her nerve and got down on her knees.

"Yes mother. I pray...I pray that no one saw me... saw me talking to the son of the demon king." She stuttered.

"Good, my precious daughter. Now get up and get changed, your dress is dirty." Elizabeth's mother cooed, stroking her hair. Usually her mothers hands felt like a blessing, like a reward, but this time it felt like a warning.

As Elizabeth ran up to her room, tears in her eyes, she ripped her hair out of the bun. She was sick of her mother. She was sick of the war! Suddenly, Elizabeth had the stupidest, worst idea maybe ever. She immediately knew that she had to try.
