Can't Stop Thinking of You

Even after her shocking realization, Elizabeth's life went on. She continued to fight in the war, she continued making battle strategies, she continued to met with other leaders. And yet, while doing all of this, Meliodas was tucked into the back of her mind. While fighting, (I wonder if Meliodas is fighting? Is he okay?) while making strategies, (is Meliodas strategizing right now too?) and while meeting with leaders of the other clans. (I want to meet with Meliodas again soon!)

The thought of Meliodas brought so many emotions rushing through her. Giddiness, sadness, longing, guilt, warmth. It was all so confusing. She knew that Meliodas didn't like her. He had clearly shown his hatred for the goddess clan. Including her. Their moment at the rock had been a moment of his weakness, and nothing more.

These thoughts made her a little sad, but they also helped squash the butterflies that flew through her stomach at the thought of him.

While Elizabeth was faring okay, Meliodas was barely keeping together. What had that been at his and Elizabeth's time at the waterfall?! What was he doing? He shouldn't be falling in love with a goddess!
And so Meliodas withdrew himself, letting Zeldris and his father plan battles, keeping to himself, jumping every time someone talked to him.

Every time he heard a soft voice his mind would jump to that goddess. Her beautiful silvery white hair, that was so smooth and so soft. He imagined himself running his fingers through that hair. Her beautiful cloudless eyes. He could imagine her staring at him with them just after a kiss.
Those soft pink lips... his mind was consumed with the thought of kissing them. She was KILLING him. He had to see her. But how? He can't get into the celestial realm unless he...
