Hey y'all I actually decided to give one more concluding chapter hope you like. 🥰

Meruem watched as his shaking hand lifted to run through Killua's soft bleached hair. The other boys' wide blue eyes were half shut, and fixated on Meruem's face. How could he focus with such a gaze on him? It felt like the darkest and deepest parts of his soul were being probed, liked he would break and spill out every secret. Every secret, including the way his heart would stutter every time he heard Killua laugh. Every secret, including the sharp pangs Meruem felt in his chest every time he realized that Killua did not and would never feel the same. But here he was, with Killua standing right in front of him, so close that they were breathing in the same air, and looking at him with an emotion in his eyes that Meruem couldn't place, only knowing that he felt the same.

"Meruem." Just a soft murmur of his name and Meruem's heart was clenching pathetically. He couldn't find it in himself to answer, only gulping. "Meruem, please kiss me." And oh how those words affected him. He was sure that if Killua told him to do anything with that breathy voice he would do it. Meruem hardly even hesitated before beginning to lean in, slowly, as if waiting for Killua to change his mind. But he wasn't changing his mind. He was closing his eyes too, and leaning in, and Meruem could smell the chocolate that Killua loved so much on his breath, and he was sure he would be able to taste it-

Meruem bolted up, chest heaving and palms sweaty. What was that? He could hardly remember his dream, only bits and pieces of it. Soft white hair, a breathy voice asking to kiss him.... that could only mean one thing. He had had another dream about Komugi. He smiled softly to himself at the thought of her before rolling  over and grabbing his phone, hastily pulling up Komugi's contact and hitting the call button.
