~Olivia's POV~
~Flashback~
I saw Connor waving at me from a table near the front. I walked over.
"Oh my gosh! Hey, Olivia! You look wonderful, you didn't age a bit!"
"Thanks, Con! You look amazing too!"
I ordered a beer and Connor and I caught up for a while. He reached out to hold my hand but I rejected him. He came over to my chair and sat on my lap.
"What are you doing?! I have a boyfriend, Connor! Get off!"
"Just one kiss." He said before pinning me against the wall and smashing his lips into mine. I didn't kiss back, but he slipped his slimy tongue inside of my mouth. I tried my hardest to release myself from his grasp, but it was no use. I began to feel hot tears run down my cheeks.
Connor pulled away and wiped my tears off. I grabbed my purse and threw the rest of my beer at him before leaving. I jumped in my car and wished that he would burn in hell.
My phone was ringing and I looked at the ID. Brendon was calling.
"Hey, Bren!"
"Hey darling! Come over to my place. I want to talk to you. Is that alright, my love?"
"Of course! Be there in a bit!"
"Okay, bye." My boyfriend said before he hung up. I arrived at Brendon's apartment a couple minutes later. I reached his door and knocked. A smiling Brendon answered the door seconds later.
"Hey, sunshine."
"Hi, babe." I said and kissed him on the cheek. I walked inside his beautiful penthouse.
"Have a seat, darling."
We sat on his leather couch facing each other. He had a hurt expression on his face.
"Brendon, what's wrong?"
"Well, I was at North Slope with the boys and--."
"Oh god! You saw it!" I exclaimed, cutting him off. Tears began pouring down my face.
"Let me explain, Brendon. That disgusting man is Connor Richards. We were close in high school and he called this afternoon while Caroline and I were shopping. He wanted to meet somewhere, so I suggested the bar. I just wanted to grab drinks and catch up. He was gay in school, so I wasn't worried. He came onto me, Brendon! I swear!"
"How do I know you're not lying?! If you told me that you were going out with a friend, maybe I would believe you. The fact that you didn't tell me makes me think otherwise!"
"Brendon, I love you more than anyone on this planet! There's not a place in my heart that isn't filled with love for you!"
"Was that supposed to make me believe you?! Because Sarah said those same things and I found her in our bed with a random guy!!"
I was crying uncontrollably by now.
"Olivia, I think we need to end it here."
My heart shattered into a million pieces.
"Are you serious?"
"Sadly, yes. I'm not sure if I should believe you or not. I don't know if this was a one-time thing or if this has been going on longer." Brendon replied to me.
I grabbed my purse and left his apartment crying. I hope Connor gets tortured, dies a slow death, and burns in hell. I can't believe this! Brendon does have the right to not believe me, though.
I arrived home and ran upstairs. Caroline came up after me. I slammed and locked my bedroom door.
"Liv? What happened??"
"I don't want to talk about it!!" I screamed at her.
I heard her footsteps go down the hallway and I began crying again.
