25: Hometown Hero

~Olivia's POV~

"I think that's the last of it." Brendon said. We were helping Caroline and Sophie move into their dorm today. My fiance brought all of the furniture and boxes into the room while Caroline, Sophie, Sophie's mom (known to me as Ms. Rhea), and I set it up.

"Looks like we're done here." Ms. Rhea said. I nodded my head and so did everyone else.

"Well, you girls can settle in now. We won't keep you." Said Sophie's mom. I nodded and ran over to give Caroline a hug. I opened my arms wide and she squeezed me tight. Both of us were crying.

"Be good. Don't party too much and be the best damn marine biologist student out there, okay?"

I felt her nod against my shoulder as I pulled away.

"C'mere, Sophie Louise Rhea."

She ran over and into my arms.

"Keep Caroline safe and sound. Make sure that the both of you get the best damn grades in the whole entire campus."

She giggled and nodded. We pulled away to see Caroline and Brendon in an embrace. We laughed and Soph went over to say goodbye to her mom.

"Get a room!" I yelled.

My sister and he pulled away and blushed. I went over to Brendon and he was still embarrassed.

"Babe, I don't care. I thought it was cute that my fiance and sister were hugging."

I planted a kiss on his temple and he became redder. I smiled.

"Let's go home, it's a long drive."

He nodded.

"Do you need a ride, Ms. Rhea?" Brendon asked.

"No thank you, Brendon. I have a hotel room booked for tonight."

He nodded and I grabbed my purse.

"Bye, girlies! See you in three months!" I yelled before walking out and shutting the door. Brendon and I began walking down the hallway and we literally ran into Lucas and Matt. I fell down from the impact.

"Ms. Aster! Oh, I'm so sorry. Let me help you up." Lucas exclaimed, extending his hand out.

"Thank you, Luke. I told you that just Olivia is fine."

"Oh, okay. Hi, Mr. Ur-I mean Brendon."

We laughed and Lucas blushed out of embarrassment.

"Hello, Lucas. Hey there, Matt." Matt nodded and waved. He was very shy, just like Sophie.

"Well, you go ahead and see Soph and Lina. Have fun." Brendon said before we walked away. The two of us walked to his Mustang and he opened the door for me. We started to drive away from the campus and I began to tear up. Brendon saw my eyes glisten and he put his free hand on my thigh, "She'll be fine, darling."

I nodded and put my hand on top of his.

"Hey, what's Miss Rhea's first name and why is she a Miss?"

"Her name is Jaqueline and her and Antonio got a divorce."

"Is Antonio Sophie's father?" He asked.

"Yeah." I replied.

"Why did they get divorced?"

"Someone's curious," I smirked, "Well, I'm not really sure. It was one of those things where it just wasn't right. They were never miserable and Soph said that they never fought. They just drifted apart, I guess."
