~Olivia's POV~
Brendon and I were finally in New York. It seemed like we've been on and off of airplanes for a century. We claimed our luggage and hailed a taxi.
"Where ya heading?" The driver said in a strong New York accent.
"The Marmara on Park Avenue in Brooklyn."
He nodded and took off, "It's about an hour, so sit tight."
We sat in silence while I looked out the window, taking in the unfamiliar streets. A while later, my phone began to ring. It turned out to be Caroline.
"Hey, marshmallow!" I answered. That's what my dad called her after she managed to be covered in marshmallow Fluff while making a sandwich. I heard Lina laugh.
"Hey there, koi." She replied. I got that name from him after trying to swim with our koi fish in our pond at the old house. I was laughing now.
"Did you get to your hotel?"
"No, we're on our way now. The flight got delayed over Wisconsin."
"Oh, that sucks."
"Yeah. What are you up to?"
"Watching TV with Sophie. Oh, she wants to say hi."
There was a pause.
"Hey, girl that is marrying my crush since I was eight!"
"Hi there, girl that probably sees my sister more than me."
Soph laughed, "Put it on speaker, I wanna speak to the hotness that is the man sitting next to you."
I pulled the phone away from my ear and put it on speaker. I looked over to Brendon, but he was sound asleep.
"The hottest man on planet Earth is dead asleep." I said.
"Aww--wait. Caroline and I will scream his name and wake him up."
"Sophie, I don't think that's a good ide--"
"One, two, three. BRENDON URIE!!!!!" The two girls screamed. Brendon sat up and looked at me with a worried and frightened look on his face. He looked down and saw the contact name on my phone's screen.
"I tried to stop them, babe."
"Who's them?"
"Lina and Sophie."
"Oh, hi. Why the hell did you wake me up?"
"Sophie wanted to say hi, didn't you now." Caroline said.
"Umm, hi."
I could practically hear Sophie blushing through the phone.
"Hi, may I go back to sleep now?" Brendon replied.
"Not a good idea, sir. There's the hotel." The taxi driver said.
"Well, I'm gonna hang up. Bye weirdos." I said before hitting the red button. We got our suitcases out of the trunk and my fiance paid the driver. We walked inside the hotel, welcomed by a grand staircase and many people buzzing around.
"Woah." I gasped. Brendon grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the front desk.
"Hello, sir. How may I help you?"
"Hi. We're checking in under the name Urie."
"Ah, yes. Here's your key, room 234. Thank you and enjoy your stay."
"Thanks." Brendon said as he grabbed my hand again and walked over to the elevator. In the elevator, a song we both recognized was playing; Bohemian Rhapsody.
