Olivia's POV~
Brendon dropped me off at the edge of my driveway. Being the gentleman that he is, he walked me right to my doorstep.
"I had an amazing time today, Olivia."
Hearing him say my name made my heart skip a beat every time.
"Me too, Brendon. Maybe we can do it again another time?"
"I'll be sure of that." Brendon replied. He kissed my cheek before walking back to his car. Little did I know that Caroline was home already and watching this through the living room window. I walked inside in a daze and was pulled out of it when Caroline said, "Olivia and Brendon sittin' in a tree. K-I-S-S-I-N-G."
"Shut up!!" I yelled as I felt my cheeks heat up.
"You never told me you were dating Brendon Urie."
"We're not dating, Caroline. We're just friends."
"He obviously wants to be more than that, though."
I sighed, "Don't you have homework or something to do?"
Caroline rolled her eyes and went back to her math problems. I couldn't help but ask myself if I wanted to be more than just friends with Brendon. He was very attractive, but rockstars have that reputation. Should I listen to my heart or my brain?
~Brendon's POV~
God, I was so stupid. Why did I kiss her? She obviously doesn't like me that way. She did hold my hand, though. Why are women so hard to read?
I decided to text Olivia to ask her out on a real date this time. But what if she says no? Ugh, sometimes I wish I was gay. I wouldn't have to deal with women at all that way.
Know what? I'm just gonna ask her out. As I was entering her number in my phone, there was a knock at my door. Dallon walked in and sat next to me on my couch.
"Dall, you're married. How do I get Olivia to go on a date with me?"
"Call her, don't text her. If you're serious, she wants to hear it from you. Women also like to be treated like queens. Treat Olivia right and she'll be yours for the rest of your life."
"Thanks, Dallon. You're an excellent helper."
I told my best friend while hugging him. "No problem, man. Anything for you."
Dallon left so I could call Liv.
~Olivia's POV~
As I was making dinner, I felt my phone begin to buzz like mad. The caller ID read an unfamiliar number. I answered my phone with Caroline looking on curiously.
"Hello?"
"Hey, darling. It's Brendon."
"Oh, hi Brendon!"
"Hi. So I was wondering if you would maybe want to have dinner with me tomorrow and maybe catch a movie afterwards?"
"Of course!"
"Okay, can I pick you up around 5?"
"That would be perfect, Brendon." I said.
"Okay, well see you then. Bye!"
"Bye!"
I couldn't help but smile as I added Brendon into my contacts.
"Ooh, Olivia's going on a date. You loooove him, don't you?"
I could feel my cheeks heat up as Caroline teased me.
"Shut up! I don't love him, yet. Now get over here because the pasta is ready." I said. We ate as I told Caroline about today.
"Olivia, I'm eighteen and I could tell Brendon has a major crush on you."
I sighed. Maybe he does, but I'm not sure I'm ready yet.
"CAROLINE RAYE! SHOWER, NOW!" I yelled as I put our dishes in the dishwasher.
"Okay, jeez. Someone's salty."
I just rolled my eyes at that remark. After doing the dishes, I went upstairs to see if there are any new listings for studios. I found a gorgeous one, but it was way out of my price range. To earn money now, I work as a barista at Starbucks every so often. I have a ton of money left over from my parent's inheritance, and some left over from my grandmother's, so money isn't really an issue around here. Hours later, I was falling asleep on my desk, so I decided to call it a night. I hugged Caroline as I put her to bed and then crawled into mine.
