~Brendon's POV~

I chased Olivia through the field of daisies. She was wearing her bright smile and her eyes were shimmering like the ocean waves. "Liv, wait up," I yelled. She turned around and smiled, not saying a word. I caught up to her and grabbed her arm. Olivia opened her mouth as to gasp, but no sound came out. I was confused, but brushed it off. I grabbed the back of her head and pushed it towards mine. Our lips met, but hers weren't as warm and inviting as they used to be. They felt cold and she didn't kiss me back. I pulled away and I noticed her blue eyes started to turn a dark grey. The color also started to drain from her golden blonde hair. "Olivia?! What's going on?!" She grabbed her neck and I felt her body start to go limp in my arms. "Olivia?!" She fell and landed in the grass. I kneeled down next to her as her once pink dress turned a grayish-white. After all of the color drained from her body, the flowers around her started to lose their color. "Olivia?! What's going on?!" She looked at me with fear in her eyes before they shut slowly.

I shot up in bed panting. It was just a dream. I looked over to the other side of the bed. I did this every morning, praying Olivia would still be there.

No such luck. I missed everything about that girl.

I looked over at the clock; 7:17. I was not planning to leave today, but Dallon said that I need to move on.

I went downstairs and made myself a cup of coffee before heading into my studio. I've frequented this place a lot in these past two days; writing, playing, and listening.

The song I've started was definitely about Olivia, I didn't even try to hide it. There weren't many lyrics, but I was proud of the few I had.

Feels like I'm in a cartoon
Love struck, shot with a harpoon
Flying high as a balloon
And I ain't comin' down

I picked up a pencil to begin writing again, but a shimmer caught my eye.

It was the morning sun reflecting off of the ring Olivia once had on her finger. I remembered how nervous I was in the minutes before she walked into her studio back in July. I suddenly thought of another line.

Got no, no chill around you
But I'm trying, trying to play cool

I took another sip of coffee and started to think of more lyrics. It was going to be a long day.

~Olivia's POV~

My alarm started singing House of Gold at seven-thirty this morning. I jumped out of bed with more energy than I expected.

I shuffled all of my music. The first song that came on was 20 Dollar Nosebleed, one of my favorite songs ever. I sang along and picked out an outfit before starting to get dressed. While I was putting my eyeliner on, I heard a soft knock.

"Come in!"

"Liv?" Ashlynn stood timidly at the door.

"Mornin, sunshine!"

"Oh, hi. I just wanted to apologize for yesterday."

I put down the pencil and ran over to Ash, pulling her into a big hug.

"Oh, Ashlynn, I'm not mad. It's just that there was a lot of stress on me from the day before and I needed to let it out on someone."

"Oh, okay. I brought you some Dunkin for breakfast."

I squealed and hugged Ashlynn tighter.

"Thank you! Oh my gosh, I love you so much!"

She giggled and walked out of my room. I finished getting ready and went into the kitchen a few moments later.
