*recap* I sit down in my normal seat, in the back right as the late bell rings a familiar face comes and sits down

I try to hide the fact that I am about to start crying because of the memories. After what seems like an eternity the bell rings and I get up to walk to my next class. I was walking when I felt someone pull me back, "Hey Katie! miss me much?" I could just hear the smirk in his voice.
I was trying to walk away but one of his friends grabbed me and pinned me against a wall, "Let go of me!!" I screamed trying to get out of Isaacs grip on my shoulders, "Now why would I do that with-" he was interrupted by a boy pulling him to the ground. I got a closer look it was Nash. Then I feel someone touch my shoulder, my head turns around, "Don't worry it's just me,Hayes, come on I'll take you home." Hayes grabs my arm and leads me to the front doors.
After we got to my house we went up to my room ignoring the constant stares coming from my stepmom. I sat down on my bed
"Thank you." I said quietly
"For what?" He seemed confused, I got up and showed him the picture I had hidden of me and Jace when we were younger.
"That was the guy that was beating on me, we used to be so close of friends until he used me," I didn't get to finish cause I was interrupted by Hayes giving me a huge hug.
He pulled away and looked into my eyes. Then he started to lean in I could feel his breath with me then,
