*Katie's POV*
We get to the park and I see a group of guys at one of the benches, and I pull out my phone to check if I looked good, just is case.
Nash and Hayes got here and we all just hung out and acted like little kids. At some point I noticed one guy staring at me, I turn away and ignore it.
I told the guys I was gonna go get some Ice Cream from across the street. I started walking when I heard some people behind me, I turn around and see a group of guys.
"What do you guys want?" I asked kind of harsh. One of them came up to me and said, "Hey, I'm Emilio. These are my friends, Garrett, Austin, and Isaiah."
I waved and told them my name and we started talking. They asked what school I was gonna go to once school started again and I told them I don't know yet since I'm sorta new.
About 5 hours later we exchanged numbers and I headed back to were the guys were to notice that they had left. I checked my phone and I had text from Matt saying I should just ask one of my new friends to take me home.
I rolled my eyes and asked Austin if he could take me home since he was the only one that lived in the same area as me. He said sure and we walked home together.
I get home and find Hayes running out of my room. "Hayes what were you doing in my room?" I asked as I run in and out my skateboard down and I find a small box on my pillow with a note.
"I'm sorry, I hope you accept this ring and hopefully give me a chance at being your boyfriend."
I opened the box and a beautiful green diamond ring was in the tiny box. I turn around and there stood Hayes looking nervous.
"So that was you?" He didn't say anything and just grabbed my waist and kissed me.
