Save Me ( Hayes Grier)

Chapter 12

   *Katie's POV*

Matt and I head off to the mall as soon as it opened. When we got there, he went to his favorite stores when I just went to mine.

First stop, H&M. I love this place. I pick out a pair of jeans, a half top, and a little bit of jewelry, paid, then left. As I walked out of the store I saw Matt being attacked by girls.

    I laugh and decide to just go to Boba Tea and get a drink. He soon came up behind me and said, "Sorry bout that, I forget that I could easily be spotted now." I just roll my eyes and get my tea and we head home.

   When we get home I see a strangely familiar car outside. I was about to ask Matt who it was when Hayes started to call me.

   "Hey, still up for our date?" I jumped up when I remembered what I told him last night, "Oh yeah, I'll have Matt take me to your house now." Matt shot me a glare and started to drive to the Grier's house.

    I walk in knowing they won't mind, and I get attacked by Skylynn. "Katie!" I pick her up and give her a hug. I put her down and she pulls me to her room.

   We were playing with her horses when Hayes comes in and laughs, "Looks like you stole my date Sky." She sits in my lap and nods. "Don't worry I'll just join you guys." He sits down and starts playing horses with us.

     Sky soon has to take a nap so Hayes and I just go to his room. When we get in there I ask, "So, um, do they still live next door?" He shook his head and I relaxed, "They moved out as soon as you left the hospital, I hope they're gone for good."

   I just lied down and fell asleep with him. I woke up to Matt calling me saying he was outside. "You have school tomorrow hurry up and get out here." I run outside and get in the car.

   When we get home both Matt and I find the scariest sight we have seen.
There they stood, evil smirks. They start to walk towards me, "You thought you could just leave us that easy?"
