Part 22

ZOE'S POV"Adam! I'm going for a quick shower!" I yell downstairs to Adam.
"Alright, you have an hour until we need to be at the resteraunt." Adam calls back.
Today is my birthday, Adam and the gang are taking me out for lunch, Sauli left yesterday back to Finland. He'll be back tomorrow before the courtcase.
As I step into the warmness of the shower, I wet my hair and apply shampoo and conditionr, after it all washes out, I open my eyes and notice my hair is starting to fall out, I wrap a towel around my body and frantically call out for Adam. He rushes into my room.
"Are you OK?" He asks in a panic
"My hair is falling out." I sob, Derica comes running in.
"Oh baby girl" He whispers, holding my cold, wet body.
"I'm a freak" I cry
"But embrace it. don't hide who you're." Adam says sweetly. "Now come on, get dressed" Adam says, leaving my room.
I pick Derica up and put her on my bed.
"Hmm, what should I wear?" I hum to myself. I pull out a dress and skinny jeans and lay them on my bed. "You choose" I smile at Derica, she sits on the dress.
No one has seen me on a dress before. I dry myself, put on some undergarmets and slide the dress on, the fabric feels nice against my skin. I actually looked good. It was a plain black cocktail dress, a short front and long train that trailed behind my heels. I teamed it up with a pair of black wedge high heels.
I let my hair be natural and apply a thin coat of make-up.
"Ready" I smile at my reflection.
I walk downstairs to see Adam dancing to Black Veil Brides Rebel Yell. I laugh and clear my throat. He turns the music off and turns around.
"Holy shit." Adam gasped once he turned to view me.
"You ready?" I smile at him, walking off.
Adam led me outside to a limo, I smiled widely.
"You only turn 16 once." Adam winks, I laugh.
Once we reach our destination, Adam linked our arms together as we walked into the resteruant, Adam had reserved a private function room upstairs. Paps were flooding the busy place.
As we walked in, Tommy, Issac and Ashley looked shocked, Neil and Eber were also there.
"Where has my badass girl gone? This is just a girl!" Tommy laughed. I gave him a hug.
"You look amazing" Ashley smiled as she embraced me into a hug.
"Thank-you" I smile. I sit down next to Issac and our hands intwine.
"I want to thank everyone that has come to this lovely event tonight, in loving memory of my beautiful mother and to celebrate our Zoe's 16th birthday! Unfortunately, one member of our broad is currently in Finland but we'll still have fun!" Adam laughs sitting down. We start eating the beautiful steak.
"So Zoe. What are your favorite hobbies?" Neil asks smiling. I like Neil a lot, he is the cool Uncle.
"I write songs." I say, trying to cut my steak.
"Oh yeah. How's that going for you?" He asks.
"I have nearly finished one song, I wrote it for Adam" I smile. Adam looks up from his plate.
"I go back to work in January, so if it's finished by then, I'll record it." Adam explains.
"I won't be able to hear it." I say quietly. The table goes silent.
"You don't know that sweetie." Eber says looking me in the eye. I sigh. I push my plate away, I have lost my appiete. Adam's eyes are full of pain, of course I am the one that makes a great night and turns it into a quiet depressing night.
"I need to go to the loo." I say, running to the toilet, I go to a stool and close the door, locking it behind me. I feel weak for this, it's my night, so many people so much effort into it and i can't even be there.
"Zoe?" I hear Ashley's voice say softly. I feel a tear glid down my cheek, I didn't even realise I was crying. "Zoe, everyone's waiting for you to come back outside." She says again.
"Why do I have to ruin a good night?" I cry. I unlock the door to reveal Ashley standing there. She pulls me into a hug.
"You didn't ruin it, sweety. You're just emotional." I chuckle slightly. Ashley wipes my tears.
"Thank you. Thank you for just being there for me." I say, pulling Ash into a tight hug.
"It's ok beautiful. Now come on, we have cake." Ash winks.
I walk back out slowly, Ashley just behind me, Adam stands up.
"I'm sorry for running off." I say into his chest as I hug him.
"It's fine." He smiles. I see two waiters with a cake in their hand, they start singing happy birthday to me.
An hour later, we're all ready to leave. Everyone is coming back to Adam's. Adam said there's one last surprise for me. As we pull into the drive-way, Adam makes me put a blind fold over my eyes, I do as he says and he leads me inside the warm house.
Adam lifts up the blindfold.
"SURPRISE!" Everyone yells once the blindfold is off. Most of the people were Adam's friends and family.
"This is all for me?" I say, shocked covering my mouth.
"Of course" Adam laughs. I pick Derica up,
"Thank-you everyone!" I smile. Tommy and Neil suddenly pick me up onto their shoulders.
"Let's get this party started!" Neil shouts happiely.
"Wait!" Ashley yells "Group photo!" We all get into position and one of Adam's body guards takes the photo.
"Thanks George!" Adam laughs, I hear the front door open and I see Sauli walk in.
"Sauli!" I yell running up to him and hugging him.
"Happy Birthday, pipsqueak" he says, handing me a small velvet box, I open it and it reveals a beautiful silver braclet. "It has been in my family for generations. My mother handed it down to me, in hope I'll pass it down to my daughter and here I am" He smiles. I hug him tightly.
"It's beautiful! Thank you" I smile widely.
Everyone soon settles down, they're all standing around, queitly talking amonst themselves. Tommy suddenly stands on a chair.
"May I please have everyone's attention!?" He says lodly, Issac turns the stereo down. Tommy gets off the chair and kneels on one knee in front of Zoe. "Ashley Dzerigian, you have been the love of my life since the first time I met you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you, so would you do the honor in becoming my beautiful wife?" Tommy says, pulling out a gorgeous ring.
"Yes! Yes!" Ashley beams happiely.

Soon, we're all saying goodbye to everyone. Tommy picks me up over his shoulder and messes my hair up, once he puts me down, I glare him,
"not nice Tommy" I glare.
"Aw, I am sorry." He laughs.
"Haista Vittu" I death glare him. (Means fuck you in Finnish)
"Zoe!" Adam yells sternly, trying not to laugh. "We understood that you know!" He says. Tommy, who looks confused but shrugs it off.
Everyone goes, leaving Adam, Sauli and myself.
"Zoe, fuck you isn't nice to say" Sauli laughs.
"sounds cool in Finnish though" I giggle. I yawn. "Im heading to bed. Goodnight" I smile, hugging Sauli and Adam.
"Alright, we'll see you tomorrow morning, we have a big day tomorrow" Adam smiles.
"Thank you both for the great night, you're the best parents ever" I laugh, runnning upstairs.
I slip out of my dress and put one of Adam's old shirts on and fall asleep softly with Derica.
