Chapter 34 ~ Reactions

Yuju's POV

    I turned around as I heard a door close. A pair of two people walked out of the room, hand in hand. They looked happy. I thought I didn't know them. That is, until I actually looked at their faces.

    "Minghao? Mina?" I gasped.

    Jun whipped around as soon as he heard their names.

    "Minghao, how could you?" Jun gasped.

    "Uhhh...what?" Minghao asked, confused.

    "How could you keep secrets from me? After all we've been through," Jun clutched his heart dramatically.

    "文俊辉閉嘴," (wen junhui shut up) Minghao grumbled. "Now you're just being ridiculous."

    "I do understand what you're saying," I grinned. "You do remember that, right?"

    "Be quiet Yuju," Minghao flicked my forehead.

    "Yah Myeongho!" Mina scolded him. "Respect your dongsaeng and hyung."

    "That's seriously the first time someone has ever called him my his Korean name," Jun gasped. "Everyone called him The8 or Minghao. You should give him a Japanese name."

    "Hmmmm," Mina said thoughtfully. "Machiko is a good one. It has the same amount of romanized letters as 'Minghao.' Still though, I like saying Myeongho or Minghao. Maybe you need an actual nickname."

    "You should give her a Chinese name too then Minghao," I grinned. "Think of it as a way to seal your love for each other."

    "Well," Minghao began. "There aren't many Chinese names that begin with 'M.' I guess 米娜 works. (pronounced Mina) It's basically Mina but with Chinese characters."

    "Okay," Mina smiled. "Thanks Ming Ming."

    "Awwww kyeopta," I giggled.

    "Shush," Minghao swatted my arm.

    "Let's head back to the dorm then," Jun grinned. "Everyone has to hear about this new couple in the works."

    "Ugh fine," Minghao grumbled.

    The doctor came in just then and helped Minghao up. He already had a cast, but the doctor gave him wheelchair and a pair of crutches for later. Minghao spun the wheels and got around by himself. Once he practiced a little bit, the four of us were all smiles as we headed back to the SEVENTEEN dorm.

    "I can't wait for their reactions," Mina said excitedly.

    "Seungkwan and Jeonghan are going to hit the roof," Minghao grumbled. "Seungkwan is just a diva, so that's natural though. Jeonghan hyung might freak out though...he kind of did when Jun and Yuju did."

    "We'll just have to see then, I guess," Jun patted Minghao's shoulder encouragingly.

    We walked into the dorm, and the first person to see Minghao and Mina's clasped hands was Seungkwan. And to make it worse, Seungkwan was so shocked that he dropped the plate he was holding.

    "YAH SEUNGKWANIE WHY DID YOU DROP YOUR PLATE?" Mingyu yelled. He ran into the hallway and picked the plate up. "Thank God this is plastic," he muttered.

    He turned to us and his jaw dropped. Seungkwan and Mingyu were like statues — not moving at all at the sight of the new couple.

    "Mingyu, Seungkwan, why are you both just standing there?" Jisoo shook his head.

    He walked in and gasped. However, he clearly had more common sense and didn't just stand there. He did the one thing that the other two didn't. He called for someone.
