Chapter 45 ~ Love

Yuju's POV

My jaw dropped.

"YOU WHAT?" I squawked, which caused Jeonghan to clamp his hand over my mouth.

"Shut up," Jeonghan hissed. "Yes, I like Jisoo."

"And not Jisoo of BLACKPINK, I'm assuming," I muttered.

"Correct," Jeonghan nodded.

"So, you're saying," I gulped. "You're not...straight?"

"In the sexuality sense, then no, I'm not," Jeonghan nodded.

I fell back onto the sand.

"Are you serious?" I asked.

"Mhmm," Jeonghan grinned.

"How exactly did this happen, then?" I demanded.

"Well," Jeonghan started. "It all started with this."

*FLASHBACK (Jeonghan's POV)

"Hey Hannie," Jisoo hugged his friend, causing the older boy's hair to move.

"Hey shua," I smiled.

"What if I told you," Jisoo began. "That I wasn't interested in girls?"

"You mean," I said. "Like what if you weren't straight?"

"Yeah," Jisoo nodded.

"Isn't that against your beliefs?" I asked.

"Not anymore," Jisoo shook his head. "I've changed."

"I wouldn't judge you," I said honestly. "I'm your friend, and friends should support each other no matter what."

"Well then," Jisoo smiled. "I hope you don't feel weird about this."

I gasped as I felt a pair of lips press onto my cheek.

"Y-You like me?" I gasped.

"I have," Jisoo said sheepishly. "For a while now."

"Why didn't you say something earlier?" I asked, hitting his arm. "I would've said yes to you earlier."

"You mean?" Jisoo gasped.

"Yes, Jisoo," I smiled. "I'll be your boyfriend."

And with that, our lips collided, securing the tie that we just created.

*BACK TO PRESENT

Yuju's POV

"Wow," my eyes widened. "So you're dating Jisoo?"

"Yeah," Jeonghan replied sheepishly. "I hope that's okay with you."

"Is that okay? Of course that's okay!" I exclaimed, wrapping my arms around my older brother. "I'm so happy that you've found someone to love. Plus, that means the Jihan ship really has sailed."

"What's Jihan?" Jeonghan asked, confused.

"The 'ji' is from Jisoo and the 'han' is from you, oppa," I grinned.

"Please tell me you didn't make up that ship name," Jeonghan grumbled.

"I actually didn't," I said, my smile widening. "Your fans made it up."

"Did they now?" Jeonghan chuckled. "And that just shows how smart some fans are."

"Yeah," I nodded. "But oppa, can I tell other people?"

"Not the general public, obviously," Jeonghan advised. "And please just wait. I plan on telling everyone with Jisoo soon."

"Okay, I'll wait," I huffed. "It's just exciting. My older brother is finally dating someone!"
