REI'S POV
The next day, I walked through the streets and some of the townsfolk said hi to me while the others feared me because of me being known as the 'The Reaper' or 'Shikigami'. I got to the gunshop and I looked at the latest weapons for sale. The shopkeeper, Juro came over to me and he smiled at me nervously.
"Um, Rei-chan, what can I do for you? have you seen anything in particular?"
"I'm just here for more ammo and see what guns that you've got in store this time."
"Well, we do have this one for sale."
I looked at Juro and he showed me the latest rifle for sale and I was impressed by this but, I turned it down.
"It's good, but, pistols are more of my thing, they're lighter and I can dodge my enemies attacks a lot better."
"In that case, we've got these mini submachine guns that we recently got in store."
Juro showed me the mini submachine guns for sale and I smiled brightly.
"Yes!! those ones are brilliant, how much are they?"
"They're 299,000."
I sweat dropped and I asked him.
"Come again...?"
"You heard me."
I glared at Juro and then he started to shiver in fear when he saw my dark and scary aura.
"Care to repeat that again?"
I said in a dark tone.
"Wait, wait, did I say 299.000 yen? what I meant was it was 100 yen, my mistake!"
"That's more like it."
After I paid Juro for the guns, I left the shop with a smirk on my face.
'Hmpf pays off being known as 'The Reaper' and the scariest woman around here."
I got back to the castle and then Karl showed up.
"Rei, may have a word with you?"
"What have I done now? whatever it was, it wasn't me!"
"*Chuckles* nothing like that at all, actually, I've got a little job for you, well, when I say little, I mean a big job."
I was surprised by this and then we headed back to his office so he can explain to me about the job. Karl gives me a picture of a girl who recently transferred to the night school in the human world and then Karl explains to me.
"This girl is Yui Komori, she came to the Sakamaki household a few days ago."
"I'm guessing this one has become a sacrificial bride?"
"Correct, but, it's just as you told me, Ritcher is up to something, from what my familiars told me he's been watching her for quite some time now and that's not all, you'll be heading over there too."
"Me? why?"
"Well, you did say that you wanted to repay me for helping you and letting you live here, now's the time for you to do that."
I was surprised by this and I then smiled at Karl.
"All right, just tell me what I should do and I'll get the job done."
"Good to hear, Yui Komori contains the blood of Eve and I want you to make sure no other vampires aside from my sons try and suck her blood."
"Why do I get the feeling there's gonna be a 'but' or a 'however' in that sentence?"
