Looks Like My Job Isn't Done Yet

REI'S POV

The next night after Richter and Cordelia were defeated, everyone was still reeling from the shock that I'm the Reaper but, I knew eventually one of them were bound to recognise the tattoo on my left arm but, they were gonna find out sooner or later.

I cleaned the last bit of blood off my boots and finally, they were cleaned. I decided to take a long hot shower to calm my mind after last night's excitement. I looked at my shoulder where Richter stabbed me and I didn't feel any pain as the water ran down my hair and skin. 

'Richter claimed that I'm a simple human but, as much as I hate to admit this, but he's right...however, I can't feel pain nor remorse to anyone...I will make sure to repay Karl-sama's kindness no matter what...'

After cleaning myself up, I grabbed the towel from the sink and I wrapped it around my body. I stepped out of the bathtub and I stood in front of the mirror and I got the first aid kit. I looked at my right shoulder where Richter stabbed me and I got the disinfectant. I gently dabbed it on the stab wound and I didn't flinch when I did this. I got the bandage and I wrapped it around my upper arm and shoulder. I tightened the bandage and I then left the bathroom and I grabbed some clothes from my bedroom.

I got my tube top and the trousers that wore from before and I put on my sleeveless denim jacket and combat boots. I looked at the tattoo on my left arm and I decided not to cover it up since the others have already seen it. I dried my hair and I tied it back into a ponytail. I stood in front of my door and I took a deep breath so I could prepare myself for a bombing of questions from the others.

I left my room and I walked down the dark and quiet hallways until I saw Yui.

"Hey, Yui."

I said with a smile and then she looked at me with fear in her eyes. Yui took a few steps back from me and she said to me.

"Good evening, Rei-chan..."

"How are you feeling? any better after Cordelia took over your body?"

"Y-yeah...much better, thanks..."

I could see the fear in Yui's eyes and I said to her.

"Yui, there's no point on hiding it, I can clearly tell you're afraid of me."

"Well can you blame me?! you lied to me and the brothers! you murdered that man and you practically enjoyed it!! what kind of sick person are you?!"

"Sick person? now hang on a minute-"

"The point is Rei-chan! I don't even know you anymore! I thought you were a girl who was overprotective of herself and who taught the brothers a lesson but I was wrong! you're a member of the Shadow Dragon gang and a murderer to top it off!"

Yui yelled angrily and I was surprised by this. I lowered my head and I then said to her.

"You're right, I'm not your average girl, my life was happy like yours, to begin with until it came crashing down."

Yui was surprised by this and then the triplets showed up. Ayato got in front of Yui and he said to me.

"Stay back from Pancake!"

I didn't say anything after Ayato reacted like this. I sighed a little and then Reiji showed up.

"That's enough, there's no need to be overprotective of Yui but you, on the other hand, have got some explaining to do, she is right about one thing, you lied to us and we deserve an explanation."

"...You're right, I can't hide it anymore and you guys deserve the truth."

I said with a small smile on my face. We sat in the living room along with the rest of the brothers and I then asked him.
