"Thousands of people are going to be watching you Monika. Don't mess up."

Monika smiled as her mom tied her hair with the long white ribbon her dad had bought for her as a charm. "Don't worry mom! As long as I have the charm dad gave me...I'll so great at playing that I'll win first place again!" She put a thumbs up along with her bright smile. Her mother didn't seem fazed at all by it as she walked past her. "Right. You're on stage next so hurry."

"Up next is the one we've all been waiting for...Monika Satohara! For the past 2 years this piano prodigy has won every single major music competition here. Above all that, She is the youngest pianist to accomplish that at the age of 5! Everyone Please give her a round of applause!"

Monika inhaled as she sat on the bench in front of the piano. She took on last deep breathe before she started playing the piece. Her hands moving gracefully as she played each note perfectly. Everything was going perfectly fine and Then it happened. Just like that.

RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING

She suddenly started to shake as she kept hearing the noise. Then tears started rolling down her cheeks uncontrollably without her even knowing why. She gripped onto her chest as she felt her hands shake. She  stared down at the piano as people started walking up to her and asked what was going on. She put her hands over her ears as people talked and tried getting her attention all she could hear was the sound of something ringing.

"...someone please...help...."

"What a disgrace...All you were to do was play a simple song and yet you still couldn't even do that! You just had to have another one of your little shows in front of everyone, didn't you?!"

"M-mom...I didn't mean to-! I swear I won't screw it up next time please don't-"

The woman scoffed as she was facing the window and away from her daughter, "That's enough bullshit! Go to your room and don't show your face to me for the rest of the day, do you understand?!"

"M-mom I'm-" she was cut off by her mother snapping her fingers and calling after their maid. "Please take her away,"

"W-wait Please! I-I...won't mess up again!"

"...Miss Satohara?"

"Miss Satohara!"

Monika blinked a couple of times as she turned her head towards on of the teachers who had a concerned look on their face. "Are you alright dear? This isn't too much for you is it?" Monika waved her hands, "No, it's fine! I...do it all the time..." she forced at smile just like she always had. Which easily fooled the teacher as they smiled a bit, "It's good to know we have such a independent student on the stage! It's no wonder that you're in the debate club, I can't wait to hear you talk!"

Monika nervously laughed, "Yep that's me... the smart independent student..." she rolled her eyes as she had heard the bullshit a million times. She felt sick of it all. As the Principal finished talking it was her queue to talk for the debate club. She took a deep breathe as she walked up to the mic. Her hands were a light bit shaky as she reached out to grab it, she held it firmly as she took a deep breathe.

Don't mess it up...not again.

"Hello everyone and welcome to the club presentations! I hope you all are doing well on your first day, my name is Monika and I..."

RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING

"...A-and I..."

RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING

"...I..." Her hands started shaking as the ringing noise slowly got louder and louder with each passing second. Everyone watched in confusion as she stood there just shaking while tears were stinging her eyes.

The auditorium was filled with murmuring as people watched the brunette stand there.

Sayori watched as she saw the fear in her eyes-She was afraid. Natsuki had her arms crossed as she raised an eyebrow at all the teachers who were trying to get her attention. But she just stood there and- "No way..."

Sayori's eyes went wide as Monika collapsed right then and there. Luckily the teachers caught her and  carried her behind the stage. Sayori bit her lip as she felt her chest hurt again. She got up and stepped over Natsukis legs.

"Where are you going?"

"I have to make sure she's okay!" Sayori ran off and pushed the doors open before Natsuki could say anything.

"You idiot! What do you think you're doing?!" She got up and ran after her as she pushed a few people out of the way.

"She sure as hell better not do something stupid..."
