You walked over to Katsuki and flicked your dominant wrist, turning your nails into claws and cutting through the tape like it was nothing but air. You flicked your wrist again, your claws retracting back into your normal nails. Katsuki pulled out the rest of the tent and lots of other large objects came out. "Oh this is gonna be bad." You admitted.Katsuki picked up a small pole that fell out of the box and took the rubber band off, the pole then whipped out into a longer bendy pole. Katsuki looked at it like he was looking at an impossible crossword puzzle but he had to solve it for important reasons. "What are these?" Katsuki growled. "(Y/n). What are these?" You giggled at the face he made, "How would I know?" You picked up another pole from the ground, whipped it into the longer version and started to see how long it is but it ended up almost hitting Katsuki in the face. "Watch out!" He screamed.
You both unfolded the tent and laid out all the poles. You both had no clue how to put up a tent so you ended up failing many times. "There's just this giant ass curtain and a bunch of little batons and all we have to survive with are our walking sticks." You rolled your eyes at Katsuki's negativity and tried for about the fifth time to put up the tent.
As you were both trying to put one of the poles through one of the slits of the tent, you tried to tighten the pole's grip on the tent so it wouldn't fall out. "Why would you do that?" Katsuki growled, knowing now it wouldn't come out at all. "I'm sorry." "What's wrong with you!?" You fake screamed and let go of the pole so Katsuki could pull it out. But he was pulling way too hard, it could break at any second if he continued to tug at it so hard. "Stop. If you break this Katsuki I swear to god." You threatened.
A couple of minutes later the tent was finally standing.
But then it fell.
You took a deep breath and Katsuki put his face in his hands. "I'm hungry." You mumbled and Katsuki snapping his head up to you with rage. "You're hungry!? I'm trying to find somewhere to sleep and you're hungry!?" You walked over to the bags of food before Katsuki even finished his sentence and started opening up the bag of doritos. "No! Knock it off, demon!" "I need a dorito break." You growled back at the angry blonde.
He toned down his growling and ended up sitting next to you and taking some doritos too. "So why haven't you and your family never gone camping?" Katsuki asked after a short silence. You finished chewing and looked up to the sunsetting sky in thought. "I guess we were never that type of family to do bonding stuff like this, what about you?" Katsuki looked at the sunset as well. "We do a lot of things but camping just never came up." You nodded in understanding. "Do you and your parents have a good relationship?" Katsuki asked.
You remembered that Katsuki doesn't know that you live with your best friend. "My parents are um... divorced and my dad passed away a long time ago so I live with my best friend." "What about your mom?" "I don't know where she is but she said that she'll come and get me one day." You replied, not wanting to get as deep with the story as you did with Shouto.
"How are you even allowed to live by yourself with your friend. You're fifteen." 'Yeah, fifteen thousand.' "Yeah we are but my friend is close friends with the landlord's daughter so he let us slide." You explained truthfully. (BF/n) is close friends with the landlord's daughter but he thinks you're both over 20 so that's why you guys got to live alone. "Do you get along with your parents?" "It's complicated. We have a different way of showing love to each other." You smiled a closed eye smile, thinking their way of showing love was unique. "We should get back to the tent." Katsuki said, ending the discussion.
You tried 3 more times until it was finally standing. Well. To you. "It stayed up." You said in a breath of relief. Katsuki looked at you from the other side with a "you're the dumbest person alive" look. "Cause I'm holding it." He snapped with irritation and anger. Katsuki let go to let you two fix it up a bit more, then it was finally "stable".
