'What's... happening?'
Vyra's thoughts were a muddled haze, slipping in and out of consciousness. The world around her felt distant, like a dream she couldn't quite grasp. Her body ached, but all she could focus on was the sharp chill against her fingertips.
Her hand grazed a surface—smooth, unyielding.
Wait... a surface?
Confusion swirled in her foggy mind as she struggled to make sense of where she was. Everything felt wrong, blurred. But then, through the haze, something—or rather, someone—came into view.
Those eyes.
Cerulean. Familiar. Unmistakable.
"Gray..." she gasped, the word barely a whisper as it escaped her trembling lips

5 Minutes Earlier
"Man, I really hope they're okay..." Lucy whispered, her voice thick with worry as she stared at the remains of the Tower of Heaven
The air felt heavy, tense, after the Etherion blast.
The remaining Fairy Tail members—along with Juvia, Wally, Sho, and Millianna—sat in the protective bubble, waiting, helpless.
The waves were becoming more violent, crashing against the sides with a growing intensity.
"G-Guys..." Happy's voice broke the silence, trembling as he stood up, his wide eyes fixed on something far above
"What is that?" Juvia asked, pointing shakily toward the tower
All eyes turned, and what they saw made their hearts freeze.
"Th-that's—" Happy's voice faltered
"Vyra..." Lucy finished, barely above a whisper.
Her hand flew to her mouth, stifling a sob.
Suspended high above, Vyra hung limp, her body barely held up by the merciless grip around her throat. She looked lifeless—defeated, beaten beyond recognition.
"Oh my..." Juvia gasped, her hand covering her lips, tears welling up in her eyes.
"V-V-Vyraaaa!" Happy's voice cracked, his small frame shaking, tears spilling down his furry cheeks.
Gray's entire body went rigid, his heart hammering in his chest.
"GET ME OUT OF HERE!" he roared, throwing himself against the bubble's edge, frantically trying to break through.
"Cool your jets, boy!" Wally shouted, but his voice was barely heard over the rising panic.
"Meow..." Millianna whimpered in agreement, her ears flattened in fear
Gray turned, his face contorted with desperation and fury.
"You have to get me out of here!" he shouted, his voice raw.
"Gray, my darling, it's still too dangerous-" Juvia's heart twisted, her hands trembling
Gray stormed up to her, pointing at the bluenette hanging in the sky, helpless.
"Do you see her?! Any minute now, he's going to drop her, and Vyra doesn't know how to swim!"
"Even if she did, she's too weak, she won't make it! She'll sink straight to the bottom-" His voice cracked, his eyes burning with desperation.
