Previously on Fairy Tail

"Well this takes me back Fernandes, you do remember don't you?" Kyoka teased getting up in the blunettes face who barley had enough strength to hold her head up

"Oh how I do miss your pleading screams~" She trailed her finger tips up and down the side of the girls bare torso

She always did get a sick sense of pleasure watching people in pain-

Grabbing a fist full of her blue locks yanking her head up, Kyoka readied her whip.

"AND YOU'LL FINALLY GET TO DIE BY MY HAND!!"

Finally getting back aboard the ship, Erza, Kagura and Jellal ran towards the unconscious bluenette.

"Vy-"

"VYRA!!!"

"She's knocked out-" Kagura held the upper part of the girl as Erza scooted closer

"She's still breathing so that's good-" Erza leaned to hear her heat beat as well as her faint shallow breaths.

The girl was in really bad shape. Being in such a defeated state, her body being so weak, her healing abilities have weakened. That and the weather was overcast so she couldn't receive any sunlight.

All of a sudden, a strong wave of magical energy surrounded the ship making Kagura and Erza's eyes widen

"What the heck... is that???"

Feeling this enormous pressure, the redhead slowly looked over her shoulder to see pure maliciousness from the man she secretly loves.

"J-JELLAL!!"

The ex council member was seething anger.

"N-No!!! What happened to the sky?!?" Kagura uttered

"It seems... there's one final sin I need to commit..." The ex council mage uttered as Erza held Vyra up in her arms watching the man 

"Has night fallen?" Kagura looked up seeing the galactic hole in the sky

"Meteor!!"

"Altairis!"

"Pleiades!"

"GRAND CHARIOT!!!"

In her dreams, Vyra's brain was doing loop-die loops. She felt like she kept tumbling and tumbling until she finally woke up with a gasp. Grabbing her head with her hands, the girl was startled by the jabbing sensation in her temples.

Was it all a dream?

No... Looking down at her bandaged arms, the way her body felt... yeah this was no dream.

Where were they?

Surrounded by some members of her Fairy Tail family, they seemed to be just fine.

Gray, Wendy, Juvia... Erza... and then there's the addition of Kagura-

"H-Hey!" She shouted catching Gray and Wendy's attention

"What's going on with the battle?!"

"We were able to liberate Hargon and take back control of the port, there's still a few soldiers left hanging around but Jellal and his team are taking care of them-" Erza commented

"That's... great-"

"We're going to head back to the guild hall soon, the rest probably still need our help-" Gray went on

"Hey, woah!" She slightly panicked as her eyes shifted to the unconscious lightning dragon slayer

"What happened to Laxus?" She questioned slowly getting up from her bed to approach the blonde

"He had two big fights back to back, so he'll be out for awhile-"

"Oh-" The girl stroked his forehead with her hand ruffled in his hair sitting on the side of the bed

"W-What about the other guilds!?"

"Lamia Scale and Mermaid Heel will look out for us here while we head back to the guild-"

"For right now unfortunately, we don't know..."

The girls eyes narrowed as she stared at the floor. Not knowing where Sabertooth... not knowing where he was, made the girls heart ache.

In the North Battalion

"Come on, Sting, you have to snap out of it-" Rogue urged

Sting's head hung low, his fists clenched and trembling. His breath came in ragged gasps as the weight of defeat crushed down on him. 

"It's all my fault... I'm nothing but a screw-up!" he shouted, voice breaking 

"I'm supposed to be the master of our guild, but I led us into this mess-"

"Sting-"

"Vyra would be so disappointed in me..." His voice cracked

"I promised her I'd protect Sabertooth... I promised all of you..." His knees buckled, and he sank down, shoulders shaking under the weight of guilt 

"But look at us now... and it's all because of me."

Yukino knelt beside him, tears shimmering in her eyes. Her voice trembled. 

"You... you are our Master, Sting. And that means when things fall apart, you're supposed to lead us back up."

"I can't-"

"You can!" Yukino's voice wavered, but she pushed forward 

"We believe in you—Vyra believes in you because she knows you have what it takes."

Sting shook his head bitterly, unable to meet her eyes. 

"I failed, Yukino. I failed her."

Her hands curled into fists, and before she even realized what she was doing, she shot to her feet. 

"You're wrong!" she screamed

Rogue's eyes widened in disbelief. Yukino was always gentle and composed to see her shaking with fury was a surprise

"You listen to me, Sting Eucliffe!" Yukino's voice cracked 

"You may be our Master, but that doesn't mean you have to be perfect. You don't get to sit here wallowing while the rest of us are fighting to survive!" Tears streamed down her face, but she kept going

"You're stronger than this and we need you! So stop being so selfish and get back on your feet!"

Sting's breath caught in his throat.

Yukino's face twisted in anguish as she knelt down again, her voice softening. 

"Please... please get up. Don't let us fall into darkness, Sting. Not when you're the one who can lead us out."

The sting of her words cut deeper than any wound. His heart ached, but her plea broke through the fog of guilt. 

He clenched his fists, his jaw tightening as the weight on his shoulders began to shift.

"You're right," he whispered 

 "I'm sorry."

Yukino's lips trembled, and Rogue's expression softened.

Sting pushed himself to his feet, eyes blazing with renewed resolve. 

"I won't let Sabertooth fall."

A faint, relieved smile flickered across Yukino's face as Rogue nodded firmly. 

Sting took a deep breath before steadying himself. 

"Then let's make this right."

"Let's go."
