We are arrived at the hospital bout 35mins later, I was able to get in the ambulance with {name}, and for the whole ride I held her hand while admiring her beautiful face, and once in a while I would gently kiss her hand until we arrived.
"We're sorry sir but you're not able to come in for now, once we're finished with the surgery then you'll be allowed" one of the nurses said
"Yep, okay, that's fine" I said before quickly turning around and walking over to Jay and Mason
"The boys should be here soon" Jay said
"Who was that, the girl with the gun?" I asked
Mason looked over at Jay before quickly looking over at me and saying "oh uh we don't know"
"She mentioned someone called Luke" I said
"Mason just tell him" I heard Jay whisper
"But it will hu-, okay whatever, that girl was Luke's crazy sister as {name} told me, and Luke was her ex, {name} went out with Luke for many reasons but one of them was to also forget about you but it didn't work" Mason said
I didn't say anything because I didn't know what to say so I stayed quiet
"Ezra you okay?" Jay asked
"Ye, why shouldn't I be?" I asked him
"Because of- actually nvm" he said
"Uh okay, but anyways how are you guys?" I asked
"Oh we're alright" jay and mason said in unison
"Well I'm just going to go on a walk" I said while heading off
"Can I come?" Someone asked, and I thought it was either gonna be mason or jay, but I was wrong
"Ye sure" I said keeping my head forwards
"You okay?" He asked
"You just asked me that a second ago" I said
"No I didn't, cause I just got here" he said before I quickly turned my head to look over at him
"Carson" I whispered shouted
"Hiya, are you okay?" He asked again as we kept walking
"I don't know" I answered
"Do you need a hug?" He asked stopping and looking at me
"Ye sure, plus we haven't seen each other in a while" I said as I hugged him
"You're always getting taller aren't ya?" He asked
"Uh ye, I guess" I said as I laughed before quickly detaching and walking again
"So where have you been?" I asked
"Oh I went to New Zealand to go and see some friends" he said
"Oh cool"
"Ye, what about you, where have you been?" He asked
"Oh, you know the usual, getting high and having a blast" I said
"Ye huh sure" he said not sounding sure
"Let's go get high then, come on" I said when we got out of the hospital
"Come on then, let's get in my car" he said as we started heading over to his car
"The usual place?" I asked once we got in
"The penthouse?" He asked
"Nah the library, yes the penthouse" I said
"Alright I just needed to make sure, but we could always get high in the library"
I looked at him before quickly saying "let's do it then"
"Wait what"
"Oh come on, it's gonna be fun plus what's gonna happen?" I reassured him
"Certainly nothing" he said sarcastically
"Exactly"
"And that's why we're going to the river where we found a bong" he said
"That's like hours away" I said
"The library it is then" he said while driving
