-Dianne-
One of the production team had booked out a restaurant for the wrap party. We had gone back to our hotel to get ready for the night.I was ready and sat in Joe's room waiting for him.
"Are you nearly done, Joseph?" I groaned.
"Nearly. I just can't pick which T-shirt to wear under the leather jacket. Black or white?"
"White." I replied. I couldn't even see what it looked like but I was bored of waiting. A minute later, he came out wearing black vans, black ripped jeans, a white T-shirt and a black leather jacket.
"I'm not sure, Di." He frowned as he looked down at his outfit.
"You look perfect to me, Joe." I smiled as I wrapped my arms around him and kissed him. I felt him smile as he kissed me back.
"Okay. As long as you think I look good, that's all that matters to me." He chuckled. He made his way to door and opened it for me.
"Thank you very much, Mr Sugg." I smiled as I walked through and waited for him in the hallway. We walked down to the lobby together where Stacey and Kevin were waiting for us.
"Well, hello Strictly Champions. How's it going?" Joe grinned as he hugged them both. We chatted as we went out to the Uber we had all hired. We all got into what was a mini-bus.
Stacey and I were sat in the front two seats and Joe and Kevin were sat in the two seats behind us. Stacey and I started chatting like usual.
"So?" Stacey grinned.
"So what?" I chuckled.
"You and Joe? How's it going?" She laughed.
"It's going great. I'm so happy and I love being able to spend all my time with him."
"I thought you were gonna say you love him." Stacey laughed as she whispered. I chuckled nervously. "Wait, why are you laughing like that? You did, didn't you!"
"Maybe." I could feel myself blushing.
"Come on, Dianne. You need to spill right now. Im not gonna tell anyone. You've been my go to girl here since the show started." I decided to explain everything but in a whisper.
"Once when we finished our dance and got our scores, we went through to the green room like normal to be interviewed quickly. But after that we went to Joe's dressing room."
"Ooh! Go on!" Stacey grinned.
"I told him how proud I was of him and how winning doesn't matter. We both knew that if we did win, then it would be a bonus. Then out of no where, as we were hugging... he told me he loved me." I kept whispering.
"Awh, Dianne. That's so adorable. You said it back, right?"
"Of course. Well... at first I just said his name to try and come to terms with what he had actually said. I think the silence made him panic a bit because I didn't say it back straight away. I did reassure him by saying it back though."
"Oh my, gosh. You two are so cute. You are both amazing. I'm so jealous of your relationship!" She told me.
"Stacey, you have a boyfriend?"
"I know, but your story is the best... it is the cutest thing in the world." I rolled my eyes at her reply and laughed softly.
-Joe-
Kevin and I had sat in the back two seats behind Dianne and Stacey. I could hear them chatting away so hopefully they didn't pay too much attention to our conversation because I knew Kevin was going to ask questions about what I had told him earlier."Right, Joseph. You need to spill the beans. Right now." Kevin grinned.
"I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about." I answered hoping to stall slightly. I didn't know how to explain what happened - it wasn't planned so I had no explanation.
"No no no. Don't be like that. We both know what I'm talking about. Our unfinished conversation back in the studio earlier. Before the Christmas miracle happened."
"Come on, it was not a miracle. You deserved it. You've worked so hard for it and for so long too. I can't think of anyone-"
"Don't change the subject... come on." Kevin chuckled.
"Okay fine. What is it that you wanna know?" I shrugged.
"Well you said earlier that you told her you loved her and that it kinda just happened. I asked what do you mean? Then you ran off." He chuckled.
"Oh right. Well we both went into my dressing room and she told me how proud of me she was. We hugged and then out of no where I told her I loved her. I didn't even realise that it had been said until afterwards."
"Right. So you genuinely meant that it just happened."
"Yeah! I didn't plan it. I didn't wake up this morning thinking 'hmm I'll tell her I love her today' so I was quite shocked myself. Saying that I was more worried that she wasn't going to say it back." I replied to him.
"Oh, God! Did she?" He asked instantly.
"Yeah, She was quiet for a moment but it was just shock. Then she said it back. So I think everything is okay."
"Oh that's good. I'm glad." Kevin smiled and nodded. "Are planning on confirming it to the public?"
"I think so. I don't know when though. Or how? I mean, it's a bit difficult for me to have a relationship and my fans not know about it seeing as my whole life is online."
"Yeah. Plus it wouldn't be fair you two having to hide it."
"Yeah. It's something we've struggled with so far. But I know the fans will be happy once they know. I've uploaded at least one video a week with Dianne and everyone loves it. They all think we are together anyway but obviously there's no solid evidence or certainty to it."
"You could always keep them in the dark a bit?" Kevin suggest with a chuckle.
"No... that's no fair on them. They've been wanting to know for at least 2 months. We just need to decide what we are gonna do, when and where."
"Yeah, it seems like you've got a logical plan. And I'm really happy for you both. You're an amazing couple."
"Cheers, Kev."
-Dianne-
We got out of the car and went into the restaurant where some of the pros and the celebrities were already inside. Joe came over to me."I'm getting a drink, what would you like?" He smiled.
"I'll have a gin and tonic please, Joe." I smiled back to him.
"Okay. Go and find somewhere for us to sit and I'll be right over." He told me as he walked to the bar. I wondered over to the table where most of the group where. I sat down opposite Aj and there was a space beside me for Joe.
"Well done on your first final, Dianne. You and Joe did amazing!" Aj grinned to me.
"Cheers, I can't believe we made it so far, especially if you saw how he was on the first day." I chuckled.
"Was it bad?" He laughed.
"He was all nervous so he didn't completely commit. Bless, Joe. I did tend to wind him up by calling him floppy." I laughed too. At this point, Joe was stood beside the table with our drinks.
"You were calling who floppy?" He frowned in confusion as he sat down beside me.
"You! On your first day you were nervous so you didn't commit to some of the moves completely." I chuckled. I smiled to him and he was pouting.
"Like you said I was nervous." He laughed nervously.
"Awh, Joe. We are joking around, come here!" I chuckled and wrapped my arms around him. He snuggled close to me and hugged me back.
"I won. I just wanted a cuddle." He mumbled quietly so only I could hear. I chuckled and kissed his head.
"I'll get you back. I'm not sure how yet but I will." I told him quietly. He sat up and smiled to me. I rolled my eyes playfully.
