-Joe-
Dianne had fallen asleep on the sofa after drinking her hot chocolate. I finished my drink and tidied up the room whilst she slept.

Once I was finished, I realised she was still asleep so I picked her up in my arms and carried her upstairs to my bedroom. I led her down on the bed carefully and pulled the blanket over her.

I went downstairs and got my phone, her phone and the big teddy I had won earlier. I took it all upstairs to our bedroom. I put both of our phones on charge and placed the bear next to Dianne. She snuggled close to it straightaway.

I got changed then got into bed beside her. Within minutes of me getting into bed, she realised I was there and hugged me instead of the bear. I smiled widely. I kissed the top of her head and fell asleep sooner than normal.

The next morning I woke up to Dianne kissing me. She was kissing all over my next face. I opened my eyes slowly and she sat back to grin at me.

"What time is it? How've you got so much energy, Di?"

"Well... I slept really well. But I've also had two coffees already. So I've got lots of energy. I'm ready for the day and I'm excited because we are going on our first holiday together." She grinned from where she was sat. I chuckled and sat up. "Careful!"

I looked over and there was tray beside me with breakfast and a coffee on it.

"Awh, is this for me?" I smiled.

"Yeah. It's the least I could do..." she smiled back. I lifted the tray and placed it on the bedside table so I couldn't knock it over. I then jumped towards her and wrapped my arms around her. She squealed slightly.

I started kissing her. I felt her relax as she kissed me back.

"I love you so much. You have no idea. What did I ever do to deserve you?!" I laughed between kisses.

She giggled and squealed as I nuzzled into the crook of her neck.

"Joe, your hair's tickling!" She squealed more. I sat back and smirked softly to her.

"You're so ticklish, it's crazy."

"I'm not ticklish! Your hair is just tickling my neck." She tried to explain.

"Not ticklish? Yeah?" I tickled her slightly and she squirmed. I grinned and started tickling her more.

"Joe! No, no, Joe!" She giggled and squealed as she rolled around in the bed. "Joe! I'm gonna wee! Seriously, Joe! Stop!" She laughed. I got straight off her and sat back.

"You are not weeing on my bed!" I told her, trying to stay serious. She grinned. "Go to the toilet..."

"Yes, mum!" She said sarcastically as she stood up. I laughed and pulled her back onto the bed to start kissing her again.

"I don't look like a mum. Do I?" I scowled playfully.

"No... dad." She chuckled as I kissed her. I frowned as I thought about what she had said.

"That sounded strange. It sounded like you were calling me daddy. Which I think is gross. Please don't ever do that." I chuckled nervously.

"Yes!" She grinned. I frowned curiously. "Well I now know something that grosses you out or annoys you. You know so many things that wind me up so it's good to have one for you."

"No, Di. This is different. It genuinely makes me feel sick. I think it's a weird thing to say." I told her.

"Oh right. Okay. Well I'll try not to say it. As long as you don't use something I hate to annoy me."

"I promise." I smiled to her. She grinned and snuggled close to me. I held her protectively. "We should really start getting ready. We will need to leave soon."

"Ah but you're comfy Joe..." she whined. I wriggled slightly my arms were underneath her. I lifted her up and climbed out of bed. "It's so cold without the blanket. Put me back. Put me back."

As she said that, I remembered how she wanted to call her family last night. I placed her back on the back and she snuggled up. I leant over her and grabbed her phone.

"Taking my phone won't make me get up." She chuckled.

"No. I know. Remember last night you wanted to call your family? Let's do it now. It's the perfect time." I suggested to her. She grinned.

"Joe. You're amazing." She grinned as she unlocked her phone. She scrolled through her contacts as I started changing. I was now completely dressed and I sat back on the bed beside her. She snuggled close to me, resting her head on my shoulder as she FaceTimed her dad.

After a few rings, he picked up.

"Dad! Hey!" She grinned widely.

"Hey, Di. How are you?" I heard her dad on the phone.

"I'm great. How are you and Mum?" She started talking. I smiled as I watched her and felt her reach for my hand as she spoke to her parents.

After a few minutes, my attention was caught by her mum on the phone.

"So where's Joe? I'd love to meet him, Well kinda. I've heard all about him but not spoken to him. Where is he?" Rina said.

"He's here with me now, mum. He has been the whole time and it was his idea to call." I looked down to the phone and smiled. "Do you wanna see him?"

"Come on, let's see him!" Her dad grinned. I smiled down to Dianne nervously and nodded. She turned the camera to me and I smiled to them through the camera.

"Hi guys. It's great to finally get to talk to you. Di has told me all about you both and hopefully I can meet you soon." I told them.

"I hope to meet you soon too, Joe. Make sure you're good enough for my daughter." Her dad told me.

"Dad..." Dianne groaned.

"Mark! Stop scaring him." Rina told him.

"I'm joking. You're all that she talks about whenever she calls, even before you got together. So I know you're good enough. I look forward to meeting you." He told me as I looked down at Dianne. She was blushing softly.

"Thank you very much, it means a lot. Especially coming from you." I smiled widely. I kissed the top of her head. She smiled and snuggled close to me as she kept talking to her parents. "I'm gonna go have a shower." I whispered to her.

"Okay." She smiled as she sat up and turned the camera away. I kissed her and went into the bathroom.

I got into the shower and washed quickly.
