:=:Your POV:=:

I was hiding behind a bush when Laurence yelled at them... I've never really had people defend me before.

Not like that..

I wanted to stop him, but at the same time... I wanted him to hit harder. They deserve all the bad that comes to them... I hate them more then I hate myself.

Completely forgetting about the dance studio, we all decided to go back to Laurence's house and just chill till Hayden got there. While sitting on the couch, eating popcorn with Lyla and watching Grey's Anatomy; the doorbell rang.
I stood up, seeing as Laurence was upstairs and so was Cadenza. Lyla being too lazy to get up, I did.
I opened the door to see two men in uniform, police uniform to be exact.

"Hello?" I said.
"Hello miss," he took off his hat, "We're looking for Laurence Zvhal."
"He isn't home right now, I'm sorry," I said.
"Do you know when he'll be back?" The officer asked.
"Not sure... He's out of town with his dad," I smiled.
"Ah, I see. Well, we'll check back in a few days, thank you for your time," the officer smiled.

As they stepped off the porch, I shut the door. I waited for them to drive away, once they did, I ran upstairs to Laurence.

"Laurence!" I busted into his room.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"The police were just here, asking for you," I said.
"Did they say what they wanted?" He asked.
"No, I told them you were out of town," I said.
"Okay... Well, my father is on his way home right now... We might have to get a lawyer," Laurence sighed.
"Why would we need a lawyer?" Cadenza stood the in doorway, leaning against the frame.

Laurence sighed, and explained the entire situation to Cadenza. She ended up punching him for being stupid but I'm glad he did what he did. They deserve everything that happens to them.

That's when we heard the door open and close.
"I'm home!" Hayden called.

We all went downstairs, Cadenza, Laurence and Lyla hugged him while I stood back. But Hayden came up and hugged me as well. I smiled and hugged him tightly.
"I appreciate everything you've done for me," I smiled.
"Trust me, you're like a daughter to me. But does a certain son of mine want to explain why I just got a phone call from the police station?" Hayden looked to Laurence.
"I can explain that..." Laurence laughed nervously.

"I see..." Hayden said.

We all sat at the kitchen table, and discussed what happened.
"He was defending me..." I muttered.
"And he had the right to do so, the Ro'meaves lost all rights to you once they kicked you out. If I have to, I'll go to court. But until then, it's best if you turn yourself in Laurence," Hayden said.
"Wait what?" Laurence said confused.
"Son, What the did is inexcusable, but what you did was also irresponsible. I'll pay your bail, but if they want to press charges, we might have to bring (Y/n)'s situation into this," Hayden explained.
I nodded, "If it gets them in trouble, then I'm fine with it..."

Hayden smiled at me, and we all drove down to the police station. We walked up to the front desk, and told them what was going on with Laurence. That's when a police officer came around the desk.

"Put your hands around your back, you are being arrested for aggravated assault, you have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can, and will be held against you. If you cannot afford a lawyer, one will be appointed to you. Do you understand the rights that I've told you?" The officer asked.
"Yes sir..." Laurence muttered.

The police officer took him away, and we all went home.

Well... I thought we were going home.. Hayden stopped the car in front of the Ro'meaves house.

Hayden got out of the car and I followed him, making sure he didn't get arrested.
Hayden pounded on the door and Garte answered it.

"Hello Hayden..." Garte said.
"Don't 'Hello Hayden' me Garte. You know that exactly what you did! Having my son arrested for assault? Are you serious?" Hayden was fuming.
"Don't get angry at me Hayden, your boy deserved it. He punch my sons," Garte glared.

Before Garte said anymore, he looked to see my small body, shivering behind Hayden. His eyes softened and he looked at Hayden.

"I won't fight with you in front of the girl, but I'll be sure to take this to court if necessary," Garte said.
"Gladly, I'll also mention that he was provoked by your sons, and I'll mention the fact that you neglected your own daughter, throwing her on the street, in the middle of December. I'm sure the judge will love to hear that," Hayden said.

Garte went silent, "Drop the charges, or else I will take you to court, and get justice for (Y/n)," Hayden said.

Garte looked down, looked at me, then Hayden, and shut the door.
Hayden and I walked back to the car and I looked at him.
"I'm sorry..." I said stopping, "This is all my fault..."
Hayden stopped and looked at me, "No honey... It's their fault. Don't blame yourself for this, you didn't do anything."

Hayden hugged me and led me back to the car... for the first time in a long time, I felt loved again...
