It was a hot December summer and for certain it was slow. I felt quite lonely this night and was just trawling the gay dating sites.
My parents busy in the lounge room doing boring TV watching.
I kept looking and saw a name, Jamie, he was 56 years old and certainly looked nice to me.
I sent him a hello and he replied an hour or so later. He wasn't used to the site. Can't blame him, these sites were new to me too, so I asked him how he was.
He seemed to be alright to me and so we organised a time to meet and then I went to bed. Saying a nice goodnight as well.
I awoke and then looked around for my phone. I saw it was on the TV counter. I kept thinking about Jamie and so what I did was go have a shower and get ready to see him.
I only had the one photo of him from his profile. I had left with a nice goodbye to my parents and then went into the city.
Turned out Jamie was in hospital at the time. It didn't annoy me I just took note of it as interesting.
