  As I walked into Asher house, I saw him talking to a lady who looked say, her mid forties. She had chestnut hair just like him but emerald green eyes. Am guessing this is him mom.

Asher looks back,sights me  walks over to me.
"Mum,this is Magic, my  friend" .
She smiled and walked up to me.
"Hello. You are very beautiful I have to say". She thinks I'm beautiful. Yay!.
"Thank you. You are very beautiful too this must be where Asher gets his good looks from". We all laughed.
"So darling,let's have lunch" she said and motioned toward the dinning table.

   After the meal, we sat down and talked about different things. Soon it was time to go home.
"Asher,walk her home please make sure she gets home safely" Mrs Lamar told her son.
"Goodnight Mrs Lamar" I smiled.
"Oh honey don't call me that it makes me feel old. Sasha is just fine" she smiled.

"Your  mom is really nice unlike you" I say as we stopped at my front door.
"You're welcome Magic. I know you enjoyed yourself" he said laughing.
"Am going to go inside now,thanks for walking me home"
"You're welcome. Have a good night."

   Asher's POV

" Asher child can you go and get your mom's credit card from her room and pay". Rosa told me as mom's delivery came.
"OK".

I went to the table but something else caught my attention. Adoption papers?.
My curiosity got the best of  me and I regretted it immediately.
The papers were mine. I was adopted.  How is that even possible? Why didn't they tell me.
I grabbed the credit card, paid and rushed off to Magic's house.

"What do you mean you were adopted? But Sasha? She's not your mom?. How is that even possible?." She said once I told her.

"That's exactly what I said" I replied.
"Are you sure, you saw the papers correctly? Or  maybe you saw different name." She said trying to convince herself that its all a lie.
When I think about it, it really sad. Why didn't they tell me?!. I deserve to know. How am supposed to face them?. They raised me from when I was still a baby.

"Am really sorry Asher. This must be horrible for you" she said sitting next to me.

"It's fine Magic. Its just some silly paper that says that the people I have know my whole as my parents who I absolutely love are not the ones who gave birth to me. Its no big deal. I mean stuff like this happen all the time no big deal".
OK so this a really big deal for me. I am freaking out and I just can't take it anymore.

"Asher..." She began but I cut her off.

"Oh who am I kidding?! This is the biggest deal of my life. And I can't imagine a life without them. Sure they are not always around, but I still love them. Am going home right now to talk to them." I said and got into my car and so did Magic.

"Mama?,where's mom and dad?" I asked as I barged into the kitchen.

"Well, I hope everything thing is fine?" She asked
"Yes, is she in her room?"I asked getting impatient.
"Yes but........" I didn't let her finish I ran upstairs to her room.

"Mom, why didn't you tell me?" I asked once I opened the door.

"Tell you what?"

"That I was adopted! Why did you tell me. Do know hard it is for me?." I said and she got scared.

"Listen, I'm really sorry but your father said it wasn't time."

"So when were you going to tell me huh?"
"Answer me mom!. Who is my birth mom. Do you know her?!"

"She's dead, died when giving birth to you. Listen baby am really sorry" she said crying.

"Dead?, how do you know?" That's what the orphanage said. That they found you lying next to her in the streets" she said crying harder.

Let me get this straight. She's dead as in gone and I can't see her .Wow!.

"Am so sorry baby, when we went to the orphanage and heard your story. I took pity in you and adopted you" she said coming for a hug but I declined.

"I need some fresh air.

"Are sure you don't want to talk about. This is  huge and you can't bottle your feeling." Magic said .
Ever since I told her about my birth mom,she keeps trying to get me to talk.

" I don't want to talk about it. Can you just leave it alone please." I say.

"I can't leave it alone. I can tell your hurting.  I Understand how you feel."

"Leave it alone. Don't say you understand, cause you can't." I yelled and lost my temper. Fear washed over her features.

"Am sorry I lost my temper"I apologize.

"No. I'm sorry, you said to leave it alone but I didn't am sorry" she said recover from her shock.

"Am sorry. Its just that its been really hard for me. Knowing she's dead and am the cause of her death. She could be alive if I  didn't come along" I say crying and she gives me a hug.

"Asher don't say that!. Its not  your fault. Don't ever say that.  Now promise me this, that you'll never think like that again."

"I promise".
