I was hust coming from one of my little hoes house when Mone text me. But now on the road riding around trying to clear my mind. My pops came over last night and apologize to me .

Flashback

"Who is it?" I asked walking to my door . It's 2:30 am who the fuck still up besides killers and drug dealers.

"It's me son " I heard my pops said . I just stand there at the door for a few minutes thinking should I let him in.

"I'm not going to do anything I just want to talk Kai" he spoke again.

I didn't trust it so I grab my back up gun from the stand by the door and tuck it away. Opening the door and letting him in , I close the door back and we went to the living room.

After we took a seat he just looked at the ground not saying anything. "You can speak " I said breaking the silence.

"Bare with me man my pride getting in the way but look son I can man up and apologize for the way I acted about you wanting to get out maybe I shouldn't had token it that far"

"Mhmmm, maybe ?" I said shaking my head.

"I'm serious Kai , I shouldn't had my guards jump you or stop talk to you like that because you are my only son and I maybe should have respect your decision but I just wanted to keep the business in the family since your uncle gave it to me I wanted to give it to you since I've seen how good you are at this shit " he said rubbing his hands together.

"I hear you , but I don't want this as my lifestyle I like to rap I always had and always will .. it's my time to do something about that's what I'm going to do rather you like it or not"  I told him standing up.

"I respect that now and I'm fine with it , so we cool now" he said standing up too.

"Yeah we cool I can't be made at you forever pops " he brought his hand out for a dap so I dap him up and brought me into a side hug.

"Alright I got to go now and beat your momma back out so I can move back it" he said walking to my door.

"Eww man what the Fuck ion want to hear that " I said twisting up my face.

I heard him  chuckled before I closed to door back going to bed.

I may be good but it's gone take time because it took him 3 months just to apologize to me. That man pride is his worst enemy.

"About time you get here nigga" Mone told me as I took a seat by her.  "My bad sis the traffic got a nigga" I said sitting back.

"Sure traffic Kai we just gone pretend that was the reason " she laughed holding her belly.

I looked at her belly and touch it. I can't believe I'll be an uncle in just a few weeks. " Few more weeks huh?" I asked still rubbing her stomach.

"I know I'm ready for them to come on I miss my body " she smiled shaking her head.

"You figure out what you and Bankz gone do?" I moved my hands. She sighs before speaking "I still don't know because I don't want to raise the twins in separate houses " she said looking down.
