CHAPTER 3 *Unedited

Christopher sat still in the bed his mind rerunning the image of the brunette, which he had crossed paths with once again.
She was gorgeous, with olive clear skin, full lips, thick neat brows and high-carved cheekbones. Her dressing sense was different, as if she just rolled out of bed. Her brown thick locks were fixed in a ponytail giving him full excess to analyze every sharp feature of her nude makeup free bare face. Her legs were long, a mile long in the plain cotton pajamas.
She captivated his every thought, no matter how hard he pushed the image of her away the more it carved into his mind.
His wolf wined constantly, and pushed him to hold her to speak to her.
She was nameless and he wanted to keep it that way. He reminded himself that fools are only lead by emotions.
Leaders are lead by a strive to success.
He already had a soul mate, a mate whom was very dear to his heart.
Nicole strolled in from the bathroom with Christopher's shirt and scent clinging to her, she felt sated and happy.
A wolf during heat increased the chance of pregnancy and that's exactly what her and Christopher had wanted for so long. Maybe this full moon would bless them with a bundle of joy and an heir for the Dwayne pack.
She sighed as she caught Christopher's blue eyes boring into the set of drawers, he seem to zone out at every chance possible.
She bounced into the bed and threw her arms around him, tucking her face into his smooth neck and breathing in masculine homey scent, which seemed to calm her nerves.
"Baby what's wrong?" She nudged him with her nose, and she heard him grumble.
The pet name baby seemed suddenly disgust Christopher, and her scent seem to irritate his nose. The same scent, which he once waned to envelope himself in.
What was wrong with him?
"Nothing, I just feel tired," He breathed out and closed his eyes shut but being greeted by an image of the brunette.
"I understand, I know you miss your mom. But look she's in a peaceful place with her mate,' She whispered as she caressed the side of his jaw.
He stiffened at the mention of his mother. He had forgiven her, but the shame he felt overrode every other feeling.
He was a creation of a illegitimate bond between a werewolf and human. No wonder his father wanted his mate to keep quite. He wasn't worthy of the Alpha position.
His heart clenched. The spill of this secret just darkened his mood, and made him want to seek and pull out the answers.
Who was his mother, how would she have looked like? There were so many unanswered questions.
But he was grateful to his father's mate who whole heartily treated him like his son, his own blood when he only a reminder of her mates affair.
He felt Nicole's hand slip down his bear chest and he resisted the urge to puke. Her touch was unsettling to his wolf and seemed to stir up anger in him.
But he loved Nicole. He had chosen her his mate five years ago. She was his true mate, he just felt odd.
"I... I have work to catch up on Nicole," He gently pushed her hand away and she frowned.
Five years ago her long blonde hair and hazel colored eyes had captivated him and made him fall for her, but now he compared her every feature, every curve of her body to that damn brunette.
