Okay, so. Chat turns Mari down after she 'confesses'. He doesn't like her that way blah blah blah.
But there's seriously some snippets in this episode that make think he's blinded by his love for Ladybug to the point where he doesn't even realize that he likes Mari back.
He goes to great lengths to save her, not even waiting for Ladybug to show up. And the face he makes after she confesses to him doesn't look like the face I would make if someone I didn't like confessed to me. I'd feel awkward. He looks happy.
