The next morning, Blaise and Ron walked out of their dorm and onto the Griffyndor common room, where they found Pansy and Hermione sleeping away on one of the couches; a book between them.

"Bloody hell," Ron said to his roommate. "Did those two fall asleep while reading, again?"

"Well, you know how they are, mate." Blaise replied. "Bookworms, the both of them."

"Should we wake them up?" The red head asked.

Blaise didn't say a word. He only walked over to the two girls and gently shook Pansy on the shoulder.

"Pans." Blaise whispered. "Pans, wake up."

Pansy hummed in response and began to stir. She then sat up and stretched, rubbing the sleep from her eyes.

"Blaise?" She yawned in response. "What time is it?"

"It's time for you and your little girlfriend to wake up." He replied as she tried to catch her bearings.

"Oh, hell." She said, looking around the room. "Did we fall asleep reading, again?"

Blaise and Ron both nodded.

"Oh, well, what're you gonna do, right?" She smiled at them before turning to her sleeping lover. "Mione..." She shook her gently. "Mione. Wake up, lovely."

Hermione only mumbled "don't wanna" in her sleep.

"Come on, mione." Pansy smiled, shaking her a little harder. "We have to get up."

Hermione sat up and yawned, looking around the room.

"What time is it?" She asked, before looking at the book on the couch. "Oh, Merlin. Did we really fall asleep while reading, again?"

"'Fraid so, love." Pansy smiled at her.

"You two really need to manage your time while reading." Blaise told them.

"Yeah, we know." Pansy replied. "But it is such a good muggle book."

"What's it about?" Ron asked.

"It's about a young wizard and his friends." Hermione explained. "And they go on amazing adventures."

"Really?" Blaize asked. "What's it called?"

"Har-" Hermione stared before being interrupted by the sound of a door shutting.

A few seconds later, Draco and Harry were walking down the stairs to the common room.

"Well, look who finally joined the living!" Pansy joked as the two boys walked up to the group.

"How did you two boys sleep last night?" Hermione asked.

"Pretty well." Harry told them, stretching a bit. "Though, Draco did have another nightmare."

"Oh, Merlin." Ron said, turning to the blond. "I'm sorry to hear that, mate."

"It's fine." Draco told him. "It was just a dream. Not like it meant anything."

"So...." Pansy said, leaning forward in her seat. "Besides the nightmare, did anything happen last night?"

At this, both Draco and Harry stiffened a bit, a slight blush covering their cheeks.

"What do you mean?" Harry asked.

"You know." Hermione smirked. "Any..." She did an obscene gesture with her hands.

"Hermione!" Ron scolded.

"What?" Hermione asked. "It's not my fault they were loud!"

At this, the blush on Draco and Harry's faces grew to a brighter red.

"Don't tell us that you two didn't hear it." Pansy accused Ron and Blaise.

"Well, i mean, we did." Blaise confessed. "But we weren't gonna bring it up! You just don't do that!"

"Yeah?" Pansy said, standing up and getting in Blaize's face. "Well, you know what?"

Just then, there was the sound of an alarm.

The six friends looked at each other with confusion before Dumbledor's voice carried through the school.

"Attention, students!" He called. "Hogwarts is under attack by Voldemort and his army!"

"What?!" The group exclaimed at once.

Their was the sound of heavy footfall and soon all the Gryffindors and a few Slytherins were rushing to the window for a glance outside.

"Pardon us." Harry said as he and his friends pushed their way through the crowd.

The six of them looked out the window and, sure enough, there, in the distance, were the Death Eaters. And at the front of them all, the man who's name must never be spoken.

"Voldemort..." Harry whispered before turning to look at Draco, who was visibly distraught.

He then put on a determined face and turned to look at his fellow Gryffindors.

"Everyone!" He called. "We need to remain calm! Dumbledor will handle everything! Just stay here!"

At these words the crowd calmed down, if only a little.

"Ok, now that that's taken care of...." He turned to his friends. "Come on, we need to help."

They all looked at each other and nodded in agreement before following Harry out of the room.
