When they reached the old castle that served as Hogwarts, the four of them left their things by the door and entered the Great Hall for the Start of Semester feast.

As they sat at the Gryffindor table, their fellow House members welcomed them warmly.

While Harry, Ron, and Hermione were all playing catch up with their fellow Gryffindors, Draco was still feeling a bit off about the whole thing. The former Slytherin just couldn't believe that those who were enemies of his old House now welcomed him with open arms.

"Hello, Draco." A voice said from behind him. He turned around and saw a girl of about 17 with a black bob cut and fair skin standing behind him. With her was a boy the same age with dark skin and a buzz cut. "Is this seat taken?" The two of them sat on either side of him and smiled.

"Blaise, Pansy." Draco said, smiling. "What are you doing over here? Shouldn't you two be at the Slytherin table?"

"Well, you see, mate." Blaise began. "The thing is, we aren't Slytherins anymore." It was at this point that Draco realized that they were both wearing red and gold striped ties.

"Wait." He said, hardly believing it. "You two are Gryffindors now?"

"Yeah!" Pansy smiled.

"Pansy!" Hermione smiled at her friend.

"Hey, Granger." Pansy smiled back, putting an arm around her shoulder and pulling her into a hug. "Long time, no see."

"It's only been a few weeks." Hermione reminded her.

"I know, but that's way too long to be away from your best friend." She laughed a little.

"Ronald." Blaise greeted his old roommate.

"Blaise." Ron replied.

Both were understandably awkward after the mistletoe incident that transpired on Christmas.

"So, why did you two switch houses?" Harry asked the newest additions to Gryffindor House.

"Well, we enjoyed your guy's company so much that we didn't really want to leave." Pansy explained.

"Well, that." Blaise interjected quickly. "And we didn't want to be away from Draco because he's kind of our leader."

"Oh." Draco smiled. "Well, I'm honored that you would switch houses for me."

"Shut up." Blaise said, playfully pushing him over.

The rest of the feast went as it always did, with Dumbledore welcoming back the students and letting them enjoy the feast.

After the feast, Harry and Draco decided to turn in for the night. They said goodnight to their fellow Housemates and made the familiar journey to Gryffindor Tower.
