I'm surrounded. The world around me in chaos and ruins. Everywhere I look, spells are blasting out of wands left and right. I see wizards and witches alike falling lifeless to the ground. Some are family, some are friends, most are those whom I have wronged.

Suddenly, the scene changes and everyone, save for a few, are lying dead on the ground. Hogwarts is destroyed. In the midst of all this death and destruction, I see two wizards in a duel. One is the love of my life. The other is a powerful dark wizard. I watch helplessly, fear rooting me in place, as a powerful blast of green energy shoots from the dark wizard's wand and strikes my lover through the heart.

"Harry!" Draco woke with a start and sat straight up, looking wildly about the space around him.

In the moonlight pouring in through the open window, he could see that it was a large room with a few furnishings. A large comfy chair in the corner next to a fire place, a writing desk against one wall and a bookshelf on the other. On the mantelpiece sat a few photos of him with his family, mostly his mom. On one of the shelves of the bookcase, there was a glass terrarium, inside of which was an albino snake.

Just as he was starting to calm down, a figure came into the room, holding a candle.

"Draco?" They asked, walking over to the bed. "Are you alright?"

"Mum?" Draco wondered as tears started falling from his gray eyes. "You're ok?"

"Of course." His mother told him, sitting on the edge of his bed. "Why? What happened?"

"I had a dream." He said, his tears flowing heavier than before. "There was a war. Between Dumbledore's and Voldemort's armies. Everywhere I looked, my friends, my family, they were..."

His mother cut him off with a fond embrace which Draco was more than happy to return.

"Everything's fine, honey." She assured him, petting his hair.

"That's not even the worst part, mum." Draco choked out. "I saw Harry fighting Voldemort. I wanted to help him, but I couldn't move. And then he....he...." At that point, Draco had broken down completely. He went limp in his mother's arms and sobbed violently into her shoulder.

"Oh Draco...." She soothed. "Everything will be fine. I'm sure Harry is at home right now, wishing you were with him."

"Really?" He asked looking up at her like a frightened child.

"Absolutely." She assured him. "Now then, I think it's about time you got back to bed. After all, you do go back to school tomorrow." She smiled at him.

"Alright, mum." He said, laying back down and pulling the covers over himself. "Goodnight."

"Goodnight." She smiled at him and started to walk out when Draco called out to her.

"Mum? You're not going to mention me and Harry to father, will you?"

She simply smirked at him. "As if I'm going to be the one to tell him that his son is dating The Boy Who Lived." She walked out of the room, closing the door behind her.

Draco smiled after her before turning over and falling asleep.
