(this is seriously a long chapter. Important information though😘)

Yoongi POV (this will be Yoongi's POV during the party and a flashback)

“Hyung come with us to eat!” Taehyung urged, pulling on his sleeve.

Yoongi groaned and leaned back in his chair. He was currently working on his next mixtape and he hit a block with it. He had been staring at the screen of his computer for what seemed like hours and it was just getting more and more frustrating, but he wasn’t giving up.

“Hyung, really just take a break.” Namjoon sat beside him, clasping his shoulder.

“If I go will you leave me alone afterwards?” Yoongi muttered, his eyes closed.

“You can stay locked in the room until we worry about the smell if you want.” Namjoon joked as he got up and pulled Taehyung out of the room. “Meet us in the living room when you’re ready.”

Rolling his eyes, he stood and went to his closet, grabbing a black dress shirt and a pair of black dress pants. He gauged from the choice of clothes that Namjoon and Taehyung were wearing that they were not going to a casual place. Putting on some rings quickly, he grabbed his face mask and met Namjoon and Taehyung, going to the car soon after. Yoongi didn’t really wonder why the others weren’t coming with hem, he wasn’t in the mood for a larger group tonight anyway.

Once they got to the restaurant, Yoongi automatically put on his mask. It didn’t matter much since Namjoon and Taehyung let their faces show, but it made him feel better, like he was guarded from everyone else. Following behind them, he didn’t say much as he scanned the tables and the decor letting the host show them to their table. Then Taehyung started to veer away from their original table to a couple across the room. Yoongi squinted a tad seeing it was Park Hyung Sik and sighed a little.

Great now we are going to be here forever, he thought to himself, until he looked to the woman standing next to him.

The face was undeniable. The features were the same like she hadn’t changed in the three years since he last saw her. He didn’t know if she saw him, but he couldn’t miss her. His long time and best friend Ji-hyo, at least used to be best friend.

As Taehyung and Namjoon talked to Park Hyung Sik, Yoongi took off his mask, completely unaware his mouth was hanging open slightly. Her eyes showed the same shock, he knew that, she was just a bit more composed about it.

“...this is my fiancée Ji-hyo.”

Wait….what? Fiancée? Yoongi snapped from his shock and his head started rushing. Ji-hyo was getting married. How much time had passed between them that now she was getting married. He remembers being childhood friends and pretending to be married, but he never thought that her getting married would happen so soon, and he hadn’t been there for any of it….if he was he would have…

Yoongi shook his head and tried to focus on the conversation happening in front of him, until he decided he needed to say something, anything.

“Ji-hyo….congratulations. I never thought I would see you again like this.”

Fuck, his tone was nothing how to was supposed to come out. He wanted to seem excited for her, but in the end he acted like he was saying it just as common manners. His hand was held out like he was waiting to shake the hand of a stranger. Once she touched his hand, he could feel the aura of hatred coming from her. Her body language showed it, her lack of warmth, and her eyes definitely showed it. She was much different than she used to be, but he couldn’t blame her, not after what happened.

Yoongi felt his body stiffen as he shoved his hand in his pockets. He didn’t know what to do or what to say anymore. He just bit the inside of his cheek when the others pressed him about how he knew Ji-hyo, he just let her answer until someone asked why they weren’t friends anymore. He didn’t want to hear it out loud from her, he didn’t want to hear how he majorly fucked up his best friendship. So her answered instead about what happened.
