When Roman came to all he could see was Alaric's horrified face.
"Oh god. Somebody please help."
Alaric cried.
"Alaric hey, Ric. Look at me Ric."
Roman hurried over to the man drawing his attention away from Jo's dead body.
"Hey Ric."
Roman's heart broke at the tears going down the mans face.
"Alaric come on let's go, let's take her to the hospital okay?"
Alaric nodded as Roman picked up the lifeless body, ignoring the Gemini coven's relentless chanting.

Roman carried the body outside to Alaric's car, setting her down in the back seat.
"Bad timing?"
Kai smirked at the pair
Suddenly Alaric pulled out a gun unloading it into Kai.
However all the shots healed.
"You're a heretic now."
Roman gaped, he'd always thought heretics were amazing.
They were the most powerful creatures, that is until Klaus broke his curse.
"Freaky right?"
Kai chuckled with an evil smirk.
In a flash Alaric had the gun to his head and he pulled the trigger.
Roman stared in a mix of horror and relief seeing as the gun was empty.
"Why would you do that?"
Roman screamed in his face pulling him close by the jacket.
"I'm sorry."
Alaric cried.
"Roman get out of here!"
Roman turned to see a newly turned Tyler in his wolf state.
"Tyler no-"
"Roman you have to get him out of here."
Tyler growled before attacking Kai.
Roman quickly got Ric into the car before hopping in the drivers seat and speeding to the boarding house.

Roman had cleaned Alaric up in silence wiping the blood off his hands and giving him a change of clothes.
He was relived when the man fell asleep, riding the humans mind of the chaos that had happened.
Roman wandered downstairs stopping in his tracks as he saw an opened coffin.
"No-"
Roman choked out staring down at the coffin.
Inside was Elena, unmoving.
"It was Kai."
Stefan cried.
Roman bit back tears walking up to Elena's coffin and taking her hand.

"Roman?"
Elena smiled brightly in question.
"Hey Lena."
Roman chuckled tears falling down his face.
"What's wrong?"
Elena asked softly with a smile.
"I'm sorry I was so awful to you Lena I didn't mean it."
Roman cried wishing he'd spent more time with the doppelgänger.
Elena laughed softly brining the boy into a tight hug.
"It's alright Roman."
Roman smiled grabbing her hands in comfort.
"I can't wait to see you again."
Roman whispered.
"Me too."

Roman pulled away from the coffin as tears spilled down his face.
Stefan stood bringing his twin into a hug as the two cried.

The terror that had been brought onto Mystic Falls was far from over, and it would only bring more pain.
