When Roman woke up with his hands tied to the ceiling it was nothing new.
Neither was the vervain drying up his veins and soaking the ropes around his wrist.
"Care?"
Roman heaved out raising an eyebrow at the blonde.
"We're with the heretics."
Caroline sighed out as well.
When Caroline had woken up hours before with Enzo watching over her she had wondered why Roman was still knocked out.
Enzo had explained to the blonde that Roman had a weaker tolerance for vervain.
"What do you want from us?"
Caroline asked the blonde heretic, Roman taking notice of Mary-Louise.
"We have a burial to go to. My girlfriend thinks her outfit has to be fashion-forward. I disagree. What do you think? Nora come out!"
"I feel silly."
Nora called back.
"So help me Caroline do not make fun."
Roman whispered out at the blonde.
"You wore that dress to Queen Victoria's funeral, it's stunning!"
The two vampires watched as Nora walked out in a dress form the late twentieth century.
Roman clenched his jaw as he heard Caroline's quiet snicker.
"See."
Nora glared stomping out of the room.
Mary-Louise lividly stomped over to Caroline with an eyeliner pencil in hand.
"I asked for advice not mockery!"
She growled, the pencil dangerously close to Caroline's eye.
"Mary-Louise, Caroline isn't from our time that dress was stunning. But if she wants to look more from this era our friend Elena used to live here. There are some dresses in a closet somewhere."
Roman told her quickly, worry swimming in his eyes for Caroline.
"What do you think of this color?"
Mary-Louise smirked at Caroline as the blonde gulped.
"Let me see."
Roman spoke up nervously, trying to draw attention away from Caroline.
Mary-Louise seemed to think for a moments before slowly walking in front Roman.
Without warning Mary-Louise stuck the pencil in Roman's eye making the boy cry out in pain.
"Stop it!"
Caroline gasped as Mary-Louise smirked.
The heretic twisted the pencil making Roman scream in pain.
"He wasn't supposed to be hurt."
Somewhere in the house Roman could hear Enzo's voice.
It seemed to be enough to distract him from the pain he was feeling.
"Don't ever make fun of my girlfriend again."
Mary-Louise seethed at Caroline before leaving the two vampires, the pencil still deep in Roman's eye.

"Ouch, Mary-Louise or Nora?"
The other heretic smiled as she walked up to Roman.
"Mary-Louise."
Caroline spoke for Roman, worry for her friend clouding her thoughts.
"Hm she's the nice one."
Valarie winced slowly pulling the pencil out of Roman's eye as he groaned in pain.
"Not if you laugh at Nora."
Caroline sighed.
"You didn't."
Valerie gasped setting the pencil down on the dresser.
"I couldn't help it, that dress."
Caroline snorted as Roman slowly started to heal.
"The Queen Victoria one? Oh you shouldn't have said anything, it would've been hilarious."
Valarie giggled.
"I made a snide comment about Nora's hair and Mary-Louise poisoned my food for a month."
Valarie gave a sympathetic smile.
"They're the worst but I can help.
Phesmatos extandas lomiano."
Valarie whispered holding her hands in front of the two vampires.
"What the hell are you doing in here?"
Mary-Louise's voice made Roman wince.
"Looking for this, thanks."
Valarie smirked holding up the eyeliner pencil before swiftly leaving the room.
"What did she say to you?"
Mary-Louise questioned grabbing Roman's jaw.
She hissed pulling her hand back.
Mary-Louise furrowed her eyebrows before trying to grab the boy once more, only to get brunt again.
"That bitch!"
Mary-Louise hissed grabbing a needle of vervain and stabbing it into Caroline, seeing as Roman was barley conscious.
"Chop, chop. Let's go, Lily's waiting."
Nora smirked walking in wearing one of Elena's dresses.
"What about Oscar?"
Mary-Louise asked angrily.
"He's not back yet, apparently his errand is too important."
Nora rolled her eyes.
"Of course it is. Meanwhile we're stuck here until he's done."
The blonde rolled her eyes storming out.
"Cute."
"Pretty."
Caroline and Roman both mumbled drowsily at Nora.
She smiled almost shyly pushing back her hair.
"Thank you."
Roman gave a small smile to the heretic before he let his eyes close, exhaustion taking over him.
