The Sand Territory, or the 'chest' of Pyrrhia, is home to scorching deserts and the largest stretch of any biome that the continent has.

The Old Sand Palace has been turned into a giant festival plaza, the interior completely changed up to accommodate for thousands of dragons. Sand-Festivals and Parties are some of the most well-known celebrations in Pyrrhia, and have some of the biggest turnouts among the tribes.

In the desert, there are many small towns and places. However, the largest ones are the Scorpion Den, which is near the center of the whole place and has expanded dramatically, and Possibility, which borders the Sky Territory and has also grown drastically.

The Scorpion Den is home to some of the most hybrids in Pyrrhia, rivaled by the Rain Territory. However, unlike the Rainforest, the Den has the most diversity in terms of hybrids. Most hybrids are part SandWing (Mud/Sand, Silk/Sand, Ice/Sand, etc.), though others definitely exist. It gets extremely rowdy, and it's more uncommon to find a completely able-bodied dragon than it is to find a scarred and beat-up one.

Possibility has grown even more than the Den has, becoming a giant trade city that's home to SandWings and SkyWings, mostly. They keep trade contacts with the much smaller Sanctuary, built by Ex-Prince Winter, and are some of the calmer dragons in Pyrrhia.

There is a prominent orphanage in the Scorpion Den known as 'Dark Sun's Home For Dragonets,' run by a SandWing called Blackbuck and an assistant. It's advertised to dragonets from abusive households, and is widely known within the small city. Orphans from similar backgrounds either arrive by force or free will, and are well taken care of by the dark-colored SandWing until they are old enough for themselves or get adopted by a more loving family.

Most SandWings stick around here, so you will mostly find SandWings in this area
