" amy where you at?" i ask walking in the blake's house. bellamy pokes his head out of the side room "god damn it skye" he says laughing.
"ah there you are amy!" i joke poking his stomach and he flinches away laughing "ok you're gonna get it"
i shriek as he picks me up and starts running around with me. we burst out laughing and he starts tickling me "i surrender!" i yell through laughs and he puts me down.
he ruffles my blonde hair "hey i worked hard on that!" my hair was in two french braids that had taken me hours to perfect "sorry" he laughs and i smack his chest playfully. "where's Octavia?"
"changing i think" bellamy says "O?" i yell "hey skye!" she yells back from the bathroom and i grin. we like to joke inside the house that we're twins because even though we look nothing alike, we're born on the same day.
octavia comes out of the bathroom and hugs me "how's the lab?" she asks and i roll my eyes "need i answer?" we grin and i walk over to the mirror hanging on the wall "they said i gotta shave my head tomorrow, gotta do some bullshit brain testing on how the fluke messed up my brain." i wrinkle my nose and i change my hair to a buzz cut "ew."
"it happened twelve years ago, they're still testing you for it?" bellamy asks worriedly and i nod, changing my hair back. "sadly yes, they don't have enough info yet apparently." i sigh "total bullshit."
"at least your day off is soon" bellamy says and i nod "there's that, whatcha wanna do?" he shrugs and octavia frowns "don't spend the entire time running around the ark like last time." we nod "half" i say and she nods "deal."
aurora walks in, quickly closing the door behind her "random check" she says quietly and octavia's face falls then hardens "i'll go" she says and disappears into her hiding place for the checks. the rest of us quickly straighten everything up and finish just as the door opens.
"ms owens, i see you got back safely." commander shumway says, acid lacing his voice. i bite my tongue, keeping myself from yelling at him. bellamy takes my arm and i glance over at him. his jaw locks and i can tell my eyes have gone red, it's the look he always gets when they do.
shumway inspects the room and soon leaves. we wait until we can hear them anymore then i knock softly on the panel cover octavia's hiding spot "all clear" i whisper.
"that bitch" she says the second she's out "god if i could i'd knock him out." i grin "i think we all can relate to that one." she grins at me and bellamy clenches his jaw again "damn right."
aurora checks the time "dinner, we'll be back soon O." she kisses octavia's head and octavia frowns "better be good food." i hug her "you're not missing much." she smiles a bit "thanks skye." bellamy hugs her and she slips in her bunk. the three of us open the door and leave.
