aurora turns to bellamy and i "i must go meet with the head guard, stay safe" we nod, i see bellamy's jaw tighten as she disappears into the growing crowd. i grin at bellamy "try to keep up" i turn around and dash through the crowd. i hear him laugh and chase after me.

i dodge between two people almost running into a third. "sorry, sorry" i mutter. i turn back for a second to see where bellamy right behind me. i grin and turn back just in time to crash into someone.

"shit i'm so sorry!" i say helping the person up "c-chancellor jaha, i'm so sorry" i stutter feeling my face heat up. he smiles "it's alright skye, be careful next time"

i see abby griffin behind him and my jaw tightens. bellamy stands behind me and puts a hand on my shoulder. i glance back at him and see he's restraining himself too.

"ah skye, are you ready for the treatment tomorrow?" abby asks smiling and i nod stiffly. i bite my tongue keeping myself from saying anything snarky "cmon skye let's go" bellamy says leading me away. i see abby write something down on the pad of paper she's holding and i loose my appetite.

"i'm not hungry" i say stopping suddenly. bellamy looks at me surprised and pulls me out of the middle of the hallway.

"you're not hungry? since when?" his eyes are filled with concern "you're always hungry, unless...."

i nod "she's constantly inspecting me and monitoring me like in her lab rat" i look down, shame building up making my face go red again. god i hate when that happens i think sourly.

"do you at least want to get a drink?" bellamy asks and i shake my head "i don't want to sit" he nods "oasis?" i nod "definitely."

the oasis is the best place on the ark. i found the secret room just off of the gym when i was nine. it has the biggest window on the ark and only one door, which is practically hidden in the wall. i think it used to be used for secret meetings by past chancellors, but they must've decided that sneaking twenty people into a tiny room off of a massively popular place isn't that easy, so they discarded it. luckily, we've gotten pretty good at sneaking the two of us in unnoticed.

the room still has the table and chairs and whiteboards and such, but we just shoved them to one side of the room and left it there. with the high ceiling, it's perfect.

we walk into the gym and sneak into the guys change room. subtle, i know. they creators of the ark weren't that bright when it came to secret rooms.

bellamy shoves open the heavy door with a grunt and i set inside. he closes the door behind him and follows me to the middle of the room.

"god i love this place" i say looking around smiling. bellamy laughs "just fly already" i laugh and change into a hawk and shoot into the air. i switch back to human mid flight and switch back again, hovering just over bellamy's head "i hate it when you do that" he says smiling. i fly up to the rafters and change back, hanging upside down by a pole "i know" i say laughing.

i start climbing around in the rafters "raven would love it up here" i say smiling, feeling my cheeks heat up a bit.

"i can tell you're blushing and i can't even see you" bellamy says and i laugh "shut up bell!" i keep looking around "the wiring and everything, it's incredible"

"you don't know what it means" he says smiling and i hang upside down again "fight me" i stick my tongue out at him and he laughs.

i change into a hawk and fly down. once i'm six or so feet off the ground i change back and land on the ground. "you're gonna hurt yourself one day" bellamy says rolling his eyes and i laugh "nah" we laugh again and sit infront of the massive window overlooking the earth.

"do you think we'll ever see it?" i ask "the ground?" bellamy looks at me and nods "i think we will. it's been 97 years." i nod "that's true, but what if something happens, or the ark starts dying, or-" he cuts me off "you're overthinking again" i sigh and look back out the window, putting my hand against the glass.

"it better be soon"
