Romans 10:9 " That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. "
Jeremiah 29:13 " And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. "
It's our heart God wants. Not just to acknowledge Him. Heck, even the demons do that. But He wants us to love Him and trust in Him from our heart. Who are we?? It's what's inside that defines us..and that is what He wants. Our very heart and soul. He gave us all the blessings we experience everyday. He is our Father and Creator who loves us more than we could ever imagine. And He has proven His love for us. I don't think it is too much for Him to ask us to love Him back. It's the very least we should do. We need Him and He knows it. He has more than made Himself available to all of us. God is good.
A praise and a prayer. What a loving God You are Father. You love us unconditionally. Teach us to love You back...FROM OUR HEART.
