I started writing this in January so it sucks but I wanna finish it so don't complain
Rantaro was in his room, day four of staying in this terrible, terrible place. He hasn't had a wink of sleep ever since this killing game began.
He had to admit, he was scared, in fact. He was absolutely terrified. He couldn't trust anyone.
He was so tired, he wanted to close his eyes, he wanted to enter a world of peace and happiness, but in his situation. How can anyone be happy?
Despair. Nothing but pure despair. He finally sat up from his bed, looking at himself in the mirror to see his pale face, blue bags under his eyes.
He turned on the lamp and grabbed a book from under the dresser. He grabbed a pen and began to write.
I have Insomnia, and I'm so tired. Staying awake for four days with only an hour of sleep is hard with someone like me. Usually I'm relaxed.
But... I don't want to die...
I can't die...
I need to find my sisters and get away from this place.
Hell I don't even know what I'm doing here. I don't even have a talent!
I'm just that guy, that guy with no talent and no fellow friendships.
I hope I can get out of here...
I'm never going to kill...
Even if it means I die instead.
Rantaro-
Rantaro closed his book and simply leaned against the bed frame. Despite writing out his feelings, he still couldn't feel the stress escape his body.
He took a warm, shaky breath onto his hands, staying silent for a while before standing up.
"Maybe a walk..." he whispered to himself before making his way to his door and exiting the room in a heart beat.
He made his way to a grass area, where Gonta usually was when trying to find some sort of bug or insects.
He sighed in the cool breeze before making his way to a little pond. He sat down besides the water, gently running his hand through the wet substance, feeling as if he were finally at peace for a while.
He stared down at the reflection in the water, making eye contact with himself. Saying that Rantaro was a mess was just an understatement, because he looked like a zombie. Pale skin, heavy bags under his normal
green eyes, and is hair was dirty. He hasn't even bothered on washing it since he got-"HEY AVOCADO!"
The green haired boy jumped worth a small squeak, covering his face with his hands protectively before he heard a laugh. That laugh belonged to non other than Kokichi Ouma, the ultimate supreme leader.
"Nishishi~ you're so gullible! It's just meeeee!" The purple gremlin sang before sitting next to Rantaro. Amami sighed shakily, turning his gaze over to Kokichi. How could someone so rude and selfish act so freaking adorable? "Hey Ouma."
Rantaro kept his cool, simply tussling his small head of purple hair. Despite everyone holding a massive grudge against Kokichi since the game began, Rantaro really didn't mind the little guy.
He was funny, a bit of a smartass, but Ouma was always sure to put on a show. He really was a nice guy underneath his mean shell.
"Whatcha doin' so late? You better not be making anyone into guacamole." Kokichi sang as he plopped his feet into the pond. When Amami got a better look at Kokichi, he saw that he was in his night attire, which consisted of a lazy, white shirt with pink and yellow... pyjama pants. He blinked out of his small trance and looked back at Ouma, who was waiting for a reply. "Uhh, just going for a walk." He shrugged. "Ooohhhh, well meh, I'm bored, wanna go do something?" Ouma offered with a small giggle fit following after it. Rantaro didn't know what to say. Why was Ouma acting nice towards him? Wasn't he the supreme leader of evil? (Or something like that)
Amami didn't want to question it though, he was comfortable with anything. "Uhhh, I don't really mind Kokichi." He admitted with a small shrug. Followed by a yawn. Kokichi chuckled and began to kick his legs in the water.
"Ohhhh I see, you liar! Your out here cause somebody doesn't wanna go to bed!"
"Ouma no." Amami chuckled. Ouma only gasped cheekily and chuckled. "Liaaarrr~ just looking at you, you could say that you look like a dead zombie."
The green and purple haired males laughed for a moment before Rantaro stopped. "Wait, Aren't zombies already dead?" He questioned. "Meh, you get the idea."
Kokichi's silly expression soon turned serious as he placed a hand on Rantaro's cheek, forcing him to make eye contact. Amami just stared down.
"..." Ouma was silent for a moment, inspecting his face. "How long has it been since you slept avocado? I think you'll be the one becoming guacamole soon." He admitted with a shrug.
Rantaro just sighed and finally turned over to Ouma. He couldn't believe that he was going to tell him this. "Look, I don't want to hurt anyone okay? I just want to end this killing game.."
Rantaro was expecting Kokichi to just laugh it off, or make some Witty comment, but rather he got an... unusual reaction.
"Don't we all want this hell hole to end?"
He looked down at the purple haired boy, wide eyed. This was just another lie right? Of course it was. Kokichi loved the idea of a killing game.
"That's a lie isn't it? I know how enthusiastic you are about the killing game."
"That was the lie... you know, since I'm a liar."
Rantaro's mouth agaped wide open for a few seconds before closing. He didn't know what to say.
"But when I said that I wanted this game to end, that wasn't a lie, and what I'm saying right now, is the one truth."
"Ouma.."
"Amami, you know that you aren't alone here, right?" Rantaro listened to the tone of Kokichi's voice, it was relaxing and low to listen to. It was like a melody flowing through the air.
Kokichi grinned. "You have me, and that's the one truth. And we will get out of here together okay?"
Rantaro nodded, a little, rubbing his tired eyes once more. "Yeah... you're right... y-you're right."
The two boys remained there for the rest of the night, asleep. Kokichi's head resting sweetly on Amami's chest, while Rantaro used Kokichi's fluffy head of purple hair as a pillow.
Their body warmth kept the two companied. And of course, the didn't let go of their hands inter-winded with each other in his lap.
