Shuichi was laying on the ground, sobbing his little heart out. He had just fallen off his bicycle, and scrapped his face and both knees on the concrete.

"Oh don't be upset honey." His mother came to the rescue, picking up the crying shuichi and cradling him softly, as Kokichi stared at him with a frown plastered on his face. "Ouma? What happened?"

___

"A-Are you sure it's safe to go at full speed?" Shuichi questioned Kokichi, looking down at the steep road.

Kokichi nodded encouragingly, clearly excited to see shuichi going fast on his awesome new set of wheels. "Yeah Saihara-chan! Trust me it'll be soooooo cool~! Nishishishi~!"

The taller boy then nodded with determination in his golden eyes, not letting go on the handles as Kokichi pushed him down.

Kokichi soon chased after Saihara, laughter erupting from his throat as he watched Saihara rolling really fast down the hill. However, things were going way to fast.

Shuichi frowned, not knowing about the brakes before it was too late. He stumbled off his bike, going tumbling down the hill.

"..."

Kokichi knee he was going to get into trouble if he told his mommy and Shuichi8s mommy the truth. He began to stutter, staring up at him with a nervous expression written all over his tiny face.

"Shu - Shu told me that we could bike down the hill."

Shuichi's eyes widened as he stared down at Ouma, more tears prickling at his eyes. "Shuichi? I'd never expect that from you. You know the rules very well young man." His mother scolded.

"B-But I..."

"No butts except for your own going back inside. No video games or Bike riding for a week." His mother punished. "I'm so sorry Miss Ouma."

"..." Saihara was speechless, looking over at his so called 'best friend.'

He lied to his own mom.

___

"Waaahhhh! Miss Saihara! Shu - Shu stole my toy!"

___

"Miss Saihara! Saihara - Chan stole my lunch money today!"

___

"I-I didn't touch it... I-I promise."

___

"I h-haven't eaten today mommy! Please!"

___

It was another day, a weekend at the zoo with Kokichi. Shuichi didn't want to be with Kokichi anymore, for the boy made up stories that weren't true. Saihara has been grounded, yelled at, Scolded, and even spanked at one point for doing such horrible things to Ouma.

But Shuichi never did anything wrong.

They were now at the gift shop, just exiting the store to have a security officer stop the four to check their bags.

To everyone's surprise, a toy zebra fell from Kokichi's pocket. And his mom frowned. "Kokichi really? I'd never expect you to steal-" she began to say, this time Ouma was prepared for an answer.

"But Shu - Shu said it was okay, it's like buying stuff but you get it for free!" He explained, Shuichi's mother giving her son a glare.

"Honestly Shuichi! Have you not-"

"I never said that!!" Shuichi retaliated, fear in his time of voice. "Mommy stop listening to him please! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!"

The woman's eyes widened as she watched her son making a scene in front of a few people. Being the cash register, a woman in the store, and the security guard. Shuichi fell onto his knees, shakily staring up at his mom with tears tracing down his face.

"Please... please... pleasepleasepleasepleasepleasepleaseplease-"

"..." Ouma frowned, looking up at the adults before poking away. Ashamed.

"Shuichi, calm down.." His mother began before Shuichi rudely interrupted her. "I can't! I hate getting in trouble for things I don't do! I never stole his lunch money! I never touch his things! I never said to go up the bike hill! I never ever said any of it! It was all K-Kokichi I promise! Please!"

Both of the ladies looked down at ouma, and just by the look on his face Ouma's mom took his wrist. "You owe someone an apology."

___

They left the zoo, Saihara was holding his favourite fish plushie in the car as he tried to calm himself down, small sobs and cracks escaping his mouth every now and again.

"Ouma. Why would you lie?" Kokichi's mother asked suddenly, loosing her focus a tad on the road to face her son. He did nothing but sigh.

"... lies are easier to carry."
