💙 Kaito x Maki (Angel) 💙

Kaito woke up when he felt the rumbling of the car finally come to a stop. "W-What? Why are we stopping?" He asked Maki.

Maki looked behind her to face Kaito, a small grin on her face. "Just need to get some gas..." she said. "Ooohhh. Okay." Kaito Smiled.

You see, Kaito was an Angel, he wasn't exactly used to being on earth. In fact he was rather clueless about the world that humans walked on. Maki on the other hand, she was a devil.

She knew how cruel and crazy earth can be. She had to protect her angel.

"Hey Maki can we get some food?" Kaito asked while the brunette girl hopped out of the car. She raised an eyebrow. "I thought angels didn't need to eat?"

"We don't, but I still wanna try the food." He explained with a small grin. "Ohh, well alright." Maki shrugged and opened the door for Kaito. "Ay! I'm not a kid ya know!" Kaito said with a shiver.

"Yeah well you sure do act like one."

"You're mean."

"I know I am."

Kaito fixed up his coat in hopes to stop the cold. "Man it's freezing out here." He commented. Maki noticed a small glow lighting up around him. "Heh, you may be cold but you work as a great light." She said with a small wink.

Kaito blushed a soft shade of blue on his face.

Maki sighed and headed her way into the service station, Kaito catching up so he wouldn't be alone.

Kaito looked around the isles and picked up a magazine with a motorcycle on it. He began to flicker through the pages before Maki slapped him his arm.

"Kaito, put that away." Kaito pouted. "Man, you're no fun." He huffed and put the magazine away before looking through the chips.

Maki grinned a little and grabbed a packet, handing it to him. "You should get these."

"What are they?" Kaito asked before looking at the bag. "Flaming Hot Cheetos? Wait, am I gonna get set on fire!?"

"What- no Kaito that's just the bag." She said with a laugh. Kaito grabbed another packet from the shelf and gave them to Maki. "Can we also get these?" He asked with a sweet smile.

"Gosh, he's such a dork sometimes... yet it's so cute." Maki thought before nodding. "Sure."

The two approached the check out and handed the clerk the cash for the petrol, and the chips before making their way back to the car.

"Can I eat them now or what?" Kaito asked with a hint of excitement laced through his tone. Maki smirked. "Try the Cheeto's."

He shrugged before opening the chip packet, taking one of the chips that was inside before placing it in his mouth. Maki laughed a little, seeing his face burn up a little around his nose and face.

"Oh- oh my gosh!" He stuttered out, spitting out the contents in his mouth. Maki couldn't stop laughing, watching Kaito trying something spicy always entertained her. He pouted. "Maki roll, you know I don't like spicy things!" He whined.

"Yep, that's exactly why I got them." She replied as Kaito took his bottle of water, drinking it at a fast pace. "You're mean."

Maki smiled and leaned close to Kaito. "Despite being a dork... I still love you." She told him. Kaito smiled wearily and wrapped his arms around Maki. "You too Maki roll..."
