" what do you mean?!" I exclaimed to my reflection
I can't believe we went through all that just for Vivian to tell me that we needed to die. For what purpose?
"I know it sounds bad but trust me on this, if we die I'll be separated from your soul and will be able to come and go as I please and you won't have me listening in on your everyday events" said the reflection of Vivian
"but I nearly died last time" I argued back.
"do you honestly want to see me everywhere? I know you've seen demons before but at least they went away after a while. I won't be able to" vivian states
"I still don't understand why we have to die. How would we come back? I mean your a demon but I'm only human. I won't come back" I said with tears starting to fall from my eyes
I was exhausted from completing the bond and I wanted nothing more than to fall asleep but the shock of Vivian's idea had made me uneasy
"Skylar it's going to be fine. Since you bonded with me, you'll resurrect just as I will" said Vivian with certainty.
"The way she said it makes me think she knows what she's doing, should I trust her? My demon " I thought to myself and completely forgetting the way the bond works.
"yes you can trust me since I am your demon" said Vivian sarcastically
"I didn't mean it in that way, I'm sorry. But I just don't see why I have to die for you to get back outside my body. If your a demon then you could do it yourself right?" I pleaded, I really didn't want to know the cost of dying so soon after bonding with her.
" The worst that could happen would be your features change, like you've already noticed " Vivian points out
" I promise you'll wake up again Skylar " Vivian bargains
"but my mother..." I start
"she knows what to do already" Vivian interrupts with a sigh
"H-how do I do it?" I say so quietly it was barley a whisper but I knew she heard me
"nothing special really, you just die in the easiest way possible. Suicide is the best option" said Vivian as if it was nothing
I guess demons forget that they were once human... Quick and easy huh? Would I really change? What if my mother finds me... No Vivian said she'd understand.
I've decided.
"I'll do it"
