As I stepped out of my hiding place I let out the breath I had been holding. I needed to know and if Vivian wouldn't tell me, I had to go straight to the source but unfortunately for me I had just slapped the one person who could tell me everything I needed to know.
"h-hi" I muttered avoiding eye contact
"what do you want freak" Regina snapped back
"I just want to ask you something" I replied with more confidence in my voice. I forgot that I didn't have to back down to her now.
"ugh just fuck off will you?" she sighed
"No, I won't. I need answers and unfortunately you seem to be the only one who might know a thing or two" I replied in a semi bored tone
Regina glared at me, hatred brewing in her eyes , I knew I had a 50/50 chance at getting anything out of her after the commotion earlier.
" I have nothing to tell you and even if I did , I wouldn't be caught dead anywhere near you" she replied with a huff
I could tell I was losing my chance to get answers , I had to think quickly. Anything just to get her interested.
"so what are you then ?" I said casually , hiding the desperation beneath the calmness of my tone
A harsh intake of breath reminded me that there was another person with us
" So? " I said, my voice echoing through the empty courtyard
