I stared at her. After all this time she's here.

In my bloody classroom of all places.
This can't be real.

"Pinch me" I said to lucas while never taking my eyes off Vivian.

A sharp pain coming from my arm brought me out of my thoughts
I let out a squeal that brought the whole classes attention to me. Including hers.

This wasn't going to end well.

Vivian's POV

I knew I had the right place.

I sensed her anxiety from miles away and followed it here, she looks so different. Have I really been away that long that I had forgotten her features?

A gasp pierced the silence, I looked up and locked eyes with her.
Those eyes.
A perfect reflection of my own.
I sensed her anxiety and distress build up, I wanted to reach out to her. To comfort her.

I took a step forward and felt her distress hit me like a brick wall, I felt physically sick and claustrophobic. I decided it was better if I broke the eye contact between us so she could relax. I would explain everything to her. Later. Not now.

I soon realised that the teacher had asked me something
"sorry could you repeat that?" I said in the most weak voice I could manage, a slight lisp hinted at my words

"I said do you know anyone here and would like them to be your buddy to show you around?" he replied

I knew Skylar wouldn't want to be near me right now and I felt shame creeping up my spine and heating my cheeks
"n-no sir, I don't know anyone here" I replied looking down playing the dumb new girl act

I started messing with my top pretending to be nervous and shy so I wouldn't spark much interest, I just wanted to talk to her. To explain.

Suddenly the teacher spoke up again disrupting my thoughts
" alright, I'll pair you with someone. How about Regina? She's a nice girl and I'm sure she'll take good care of you" he said dryly.

He pointed to the  blond near the back, I took the hint and sat with her. Regina faced me and flicked her blond hair over her shoulder " so new girl what's the deal with the clothes?" she said with a smirk
I looked down at my outfit trying to see what the problem was, as far as I knew the outfit was fine. It was in fashion and clean.

" I'm not sure I understand what you mean, my outfit is fine " I replied

She placed her hand on her heart in mock heartbreak, "oh honey is that what you think?" she said. The glint in her eyes and the awkwardness that lingered in the room told me she did this often. I could feel the anger roll of skyler in waves.  So this was the girl who made her life hell. felt a surge of protectivness spread through my body.
As I zoned back into my surroundings I realised Regina was prodding my chest with one of her sharp nails "oi new girl? Are you deaf aswell as having no fashion sense?" she said pushing her nail harder into my chest , I could sense everyone's eyes on the drama that was unfolding before them .

I sighed and said in a low voice " if you don't stop poking me I'll rip your finger off and make you eat it " , I then pointedly looked at the finger that was prodding my chest .

Regina's face held pure shock then developed into anger , " who the fuck do you think you are ? A fucking nobody that's who . Your no match for me you little bitch , I can fuck up  Your life before you've even started " she hissed , prodding me with each word .

With my demonic reflexes I grabbed her finger before she landed the last poke and bent it all the way back with a sickening snap , an audible gasp echoed in the silent room . " I did warn you " I said in a bored tone , I then let go of her hand with a shove and she just sat there speechless with her bent finger then the pain kicked in and she started screaming but I just sat there ignoring her presence.

Regina was rushed out the room and sent to hospital , everyone's eyes were still on me including Skylar . I could feel the mixed emotions coming from her .

I sighed and opened my note book and wrote a note , I then placed it in front of her with a wink and left the room .

*skylar's POV *

I don't know what scares me more . The fact that I heard it or the fact that I enjoyed hearing her bones snap . I'm not a monster but I felt the power flow through me as soon as I thought about Vivian doing it and she did it . Could she feel it ? I was still thinking of all the possibilities when Vivian placed a note in front of me . Now everyone's eyes were on me as I opened the note

Meet me in classroom 209 . I'm sure you want to talk . I know you feel it too .

Feel what ? I don't know but what I do know is that I'm curious as hell especially after what just happened. I sighed and grabbed my bag and shoved my chair back as I stood , I left the room with everyone's eyes burning holes into my back . As soon as I left the chaos erupted , rumours and theories were shared .

As I walked to classroom 209 I started to think of all the reasons she was here , she could have left and yet she was here . Before I knew it I was at the door , I walked in and was immediately pushed against the wall , any questions silenced by a kiss that was now planted on my lips .

What is going on ?!

When the kiss ended I could just about get one word out due to the lack of oxygen

"Vivan?"
