The devil within

A new arrival

I awoke a constant ringing , at first I thought it must be my ears ringing and then I realized that it was the annoying sound of my alarm going off  , my Buzz from yesterdays shopping trip has died down and been replaced by a feeling of loss . Like I'd lost something and I needed to find it but I couldn't remember what . I shrugged it off as forgotten knowledge and got ready for school , after I got ready I sat on my bed and basked in the peacefulness of my room but I still couldn't shake the feeling I had . I then decided that the best way to distract myself was to go to school so I got my things and left .

At school

I met up with my two friends Lucas and Lola , these two have been with me since day one and I honestly can't thank them enough . The bell went for morning classes and we all had maths together first so we decided to get to the back seats before the mean girls do , the name is earned not given . They really do make peoples lives hell. We were racing  inside , laughing and talking about my new outfit choice when I turned the corner and ran straight into one of the mean girls . This particular one is the leader , Her name is Regina . 
"Omg it touched me !" Regina said dramatically while fanning herself in mock panic .

Usually I would have backed down and taken the punishment but I felt that familiar burst of confidence swell up inside me and without thinking I said
"Your blocking my way so move "

No one's ever stood up to Regina before and it was obvious she was as shocked as everyone else in the corridor. With a red face and shaking with anger she lent towards me and hissed " I'll make you pay for that you ugly bitch "

I placed a look of pure boredom on my face and said with a sigh " I'd roast you back but my mother said I shouldn't set trash on fire " .

Regina stood there absolutely livid and I could see the hate burning in her eyes but I just rolled my eyes and pushed past her and walked to my seat , my two friends were immediately on my case about how I actually stood up to her , just as I was about to reply the teacher spoke up and said he was introducing a new student but I didn't even bother to look up since I could feel Regina giving me angry glares from across the room suddenly I felt a connection snap into place , like everything suddenly made sense .

I looked up and there she was .
Vivian .
My demon .

Short but sweet I'm afraid . Since school has now started back up , I have my gcses to prepare for so I'll be doing shorter chapters much like this one but don't worry the plot is still the same .
Also here's some questions I'd like to ask .
* what do you think is going to happen now Vivian is back ?
* will it impact skylar's school life ?
* will her friends find out about her demonic other half ?
