Why do I even need a protector?

On my way back from Allie's house I felt as if I was being followed but I decided to shake it off I was probably just being paranoid but when I finally turn around I see no one then I feel someone cover my mouth and take me to an ally.

"Your Y/n Y/l/n right?" the man says as he uncovers my mouth "Y-yeah why? Who are you?" " No time to explain come with me we don't have much time," The man said with fear in his eyes I didn't know who he was or what he wanted but I want to trust him something about him makes me want to trust him "can I go home" "No that will be the first place they look for you" he says grabbing my arm and pulling me into a building "now can you please answer my questions now?" I ask in curiosity "hello my name is Kim Namjoon and I was sent here to protect you" he said grabbing me by the wrist and pulling me into a room filled with other people I didn't know "who sent you and to protect me from what?" I say pulling away from his hand "stop you can't go back out there I will tell you everything you need to know but not here and not now" he said grabbing my wrist again "just stop if you want me to stay you will tell me everything I need to know now" I say in a demanding voice "fine just keep it down and lets go somewhere private to talk" he says dragging me with him again "alright now tell me everything starting with why your here and tell me why you have to protect me" I say pulling my wrist away once more "alright well like I said my name is Kim Namjoon and I am your protector I came here to protect you from the hunters" he said looking at me with a weird expression on his face "hunters? Who is hunting me and why?" I ask "have you ever wondered why your eye glow blue or why you can smell from far away or why you get a sudden urge to go outside and run through the woods or why your dad left when you were younger?" he asks pulling me to a mirror "N-no b-but what do you know about me and my dad?" I ask him "your dad left to keep you and your mom safe because they were hunting him you have his blood in you too you are part werewolf," he says putting a hand on my face "What, no I... I am just a normal teenage girl who likes boys and has 1 friend and goes to a normal high school with other normal kids "yeah keep telling yourself that" he said with a smirk "I will and my mom is gone someone took her you have to help me find her, please she is all I have left of my family" I say looking down with tears in my eyes then he lifts my head up with two fingers "your eyes are beautiful umm, I mean y-yeah I will help you" he said stuttering a bit "umm okay lets go back to my house maybe we can find so clues to where they took her" I say grabbing his hand and pulling him along with me.
