I bit my fingernail, my eyes wide. "What am I doing to do? I honestly don't mind missing that show. No I don't. I've been waiting for this moment and they're only doing this for today. I'm gonna have to wait another one to two months for this to happen again. But.. what Wonho said."

"What if I told you that Kihyun was ranting to me about him wanting you to watch him practice?"

I shook my head, letting out a sigh. I turned to my left and noticed that my seatmate was looking at me strangely. "I-It's nothing." Wonwoo just raises a brow at me before going back to reading his book. The bell rings and everyone stood up automatically. "Remember to study for your quiz tomorrow." The teacher said as everyone placed their things inside their bags.

I slowly sat back down, looking at the time. "4:30pm." I only had little time left to decide on what to do.

Wonho looked at his watch while the others were around him. "What are we waiting for?" Jooheon groaned. "Just wait a little bit. Were going in a few minutes." Wonho responded. "Come to think of it, Wonho hasn't been hanging out with us the whole day." Changkyun looked at him.

"Were you with a girl?" Minhyuk smirked, nudging his arm. "Tell me all about this person, Wonho." Wonho sighed, gently pushing Minhyuk away, "stop being nosy, it wasn't like that."

"Then who was it?" Hyunwoo asked, joining in the conversation.

I looked at them from the distance and finally grew some balls to approach them. Wonho saw me and smiled, "glad you came." Everyone turned to look at me and I simply waved. I'm not really comfortable with all of them yet. Jooheon seems scary and intimidating although there are times he's like a soft little child. Changkyun seems.. mysterious in a certain way. Hyungwon just sleeps.

"Shall we go?" Wonho asked. Everyone nodded and started walking. "You didn't tell me you were coming with us." Minhyuk walked beside me. I sighed, "I didn't know I was either." I mumbled. "I'm glad you came." Wonho said with his smile.

We all made our way towards the bus stop and just waited for it to arrive. Most of them were on their phones while Wonho, Hyunwoo, and Minhyuk were keeping me company. "I disagree." Minhyuk folded his arms in disgust. "Come on, cucumber juice has to be the best and healthy juice out there." Wonho defended. Minhyuk shut his eyes and shook his head, "I haven't heard of such lies my whole life." I couldn't help but laugh at their conversation. Minhyuk seemed like a stubborn child that wouldn't eat his vegetables.

The bus arrived and all of us walked inside. The bus was hella full but Hyungwon and Jooheon managed to get seats while the rest of us stood up.

Suddenly Jooheon stood up and gestures me to sit down. And at that moment I just realized how.. beautiful his eyes were. I shook my head and declined his offer but then all the boys turned their attention to me. "Just sit down, it's the least we can do." Wonho whispered with a smile. I sat down, defeated.

Hyungwon was now beside me and his eyes kept shutting slowly as his head would go up and down as he tried to stay up. "How much sleep does he get everyday?" I thought to myself. After a short while we eventually arrived at our stop. The seven of us and a couple of others hopped out of the bus as well.

I was actually shocked that it was a different venue. "Did Kihyun change location or something?" I asked. Wonho shook his head, "well, kinda. Kihyun likes to change venues at times because of this one incident that happened a few years ago."

"What happened?" I asked. Wonho took a deep breath, "since Kihyun's vocals are beyond legendary and wins almost every competition, there have been spies around watching him perform and they report it to their representative so they can win over him." He explained. We both entered the venue and there he was.

Kihyun was on stage, his hair was swept to the left. "Kihyun!" They all called as they approached him. A smile grew on his lips and was about to yell back but stopped when he saw me. The boys were all walking towards him while I stayed a little behind. They all slapped Kihyun's back as he gave them a smile then he approached me.

"Before you get mad at me, Wonh--" he pulled me into a hug. I was left speechless. I smiled, hugging him back.

"I'm glad you came." I heard him say. It was almost a whisper. We both let go of each other and I just realized how awkward it must have been for his friends to just watch us both hug silently.

"So.. are you two just going to act all lovey dovey?" Minhyuk interrupted, making Changkyun nudge him with a smile. Kihyun simply rolled his eyes at his giggly friends. "We'll sit there." Jooheon pointed at a direction and we all nodded. Everyone but Kihyun started to sit down while he drank from a bottle of water and headed up on stage.

"I'm a thousand percent sure he's going to win." Changkyun turned and said to his friends. Jooheon scoffed, "you say that every time." I decided to sit beside Hyungwon who was beside Hyunwoo. Wonho was right in front of me and was a seat away from Minhyuk.

The BGM played as Kihyun waited. "Still can't believe he wrote this song." Minhyuk said to Wonho. My eyes widened a little, "he wrote this?" I turned to them. Hyungwon turned his head towards me and so did Hyunwoo's. "He did. It's called 'One More Step'."

My lips formed an 'O' shape as I nodded. Kihyun waited for a bit as his foot started tapping on the ground with the rhythm. He starts the song with his strong voice, sending shivers down my spine. All the guys started clapping and cheering while I was silent.

It's funny how different Kihyun sings. In a good way, of course. Everytime he sings, I just get these.. feelings I've never felt before. Not only that but the way his nose scrunches when his pitch gets higher. He's just.. special to me.

The song ends with his soft voice and everyone stands up and gives him a round of applause. I couldn't move. I was frozen. Kihyun hops down stage and runs towards his friends as they give him high fives. Hyungwon turns to me and whispers something to Hyunwoo with a smile. Next thing I knew, everyone is suddenly looking at me with smiles on their faces.

Kihyun then runs towards me and goes on his knees as my body was still sat down. "What's wrong?" He asked with worried eyes. I felt something drip on my hand before finally breaking down into tears.

"Aww.. there, there." He said as he wrapped his arms around me. I cried on his shoulder, tears flowing non-stop. "If my voice was that bad, you could've told me." He teased.

I gently slapped him, weak due to my tears. He just laughed before letting me go. I don't know if it was because I just finished crying, but Kihyun looked.. different. His smile made my heart ache and the way he looks at me makes me wanna look away and slap him.

I sniffled as his thumb caresses my cheek, wiping my dried tears with a gentle smile on his face.

"I.. love you."
