Staying at my best friend's house

6:20am

I woke up,jumped in a quick shower and did my hair and I got ready for school.I did my hair in 2 long braids and I wore my off the shoulder dress,the beige one with my black heels.My best friend picked me up in the car,she always picks me up and drops me of to school.Diego had his car window and I opened the door and when he saw me his jaw dropped.Mia (my best friend) opened her car door,walked up to me and hugged me,she told Diego to get out of the car and take a photo of us 2.

He then got back in the car and we drove to school.Mia and I were the popular girls in the school and Diego was in the popular boys group with Cam,Rob and Kevin.We walked in and everyone just stared.I dropped Mia of at her homeroom whilst Diego dropped Cam off.Me and Diego walked to homeroom together,and it kind of felt a bit weird with what happened this morning.

Diego:Y/N,you looked really pretty this morning.

Y/N:Thanks Diego,you don't look too bad yourself.

Diego:Thanks Y/N.You staying at mine tonight?

Y/N:Yeah,Mia and I have a science project to work on.

Diego:What teacher?

Y/N:Mr Jones.

Diego:I had him last year,he's alright.

Y/N:Yeah,he's not as bad as Mrs King.

Diego:Now she's a whole new version of nasty.

Y/N:I know right,anyway best get to homeroom.

Me and Diego walked through the homeroom door and everyone started to wolf whistle.

Diego:Shut up,she's my best friend.

Y/N:Yeah shut up,we're best mates nothing else.

My cousin sat behind me in homeroom,she tapped me on the shoulder and went "just friends?" She always does that if I'm friends with a boy and it's annoying so I said "I'm watching you". First lesson was maths,Diego sits next to me in maths,right at the back.The teacher let us talk to each other because she is friends with both of our moms.

Diego:Sorry about the thing in homeroom this morning.

Y/N:It's fine but me too.

Diego:Anyway wanna walk home together?

Y/N:Sure but isn't Mia picking us up?

Diego:No,she's walking home with her boyfriend.

Y/N:Oh right,well sure then.

Diego need help on a maths question,so I helped him and he went "Ooh,since when did you become a maths nerd?" "Shut up you,oh my god you're so annoying," "I know but you love it right?"he said. "Yeah,I guess I do." He laughed.

2:50pm

Lunch had finished and it was time to go home,at lunch I told Mia that I was walking home with Diego and she said that it was fine.We walked home and we was talking about homecoming since it was a month away.He said he had nobody and I was confused cause he's the hottest boy in grade 10.I told him that nobody had asked me either and he said "You're the hottest girl in grade 10 why not?" I replied joking saying "I guess no one finds me attractive." "I do," he replied."What did you say?" "I said I find you attractive,in fact you are the hottest girl in the school." "You're the hottest in the school you know?" "Really?" he said. "Thanks babe." He called me babe,I'm screaming inside. "Aw,you're so cute!" We finally got home and I saw his mom,she was like my second mom. "Hey Mrs Martir." "Hey Y/N,you look nice." "Thanks,you look very beautiful yourself." "Aw well thank you darling."
